Chapter 29 - Laufeyson

— 3rd person view —

It's already 6 PM and y/n still didn't wake up. Stephen Strange was getting really worried, because she started breathing again, even without the oxygen mask, and she should usually should have woken up a long time ago, but nothing changed.

-Steven: "Do you think it could be, because she isn't really a human?"
-Strange: "That could be possible. Maybe she needs something from another planet or anything."
-Thor: "Loki, can you go to Jotunheim and ask Laufey about this?"

He didn't say anything, he just walked outside and after a few minutes they could see the beam of the Bifrost.

— Loki's POV —

I arrived at Jotunheim again and it still looks good. I'm surprised that Laufey managed it for like 3 days to not destroy the whole planet again. As I arrived in the castle and when Laufey saw me, he started to shout.

-Laufey: "There he is my beautiful son!"
-Loki: "Laufey, what in the name of Odin are you doing?"
-Laufey: "We're partying, because of the new life that y/n gave me."
-Loki: "Yeah clearly, you're completely drunk!"
-Laufey: "Don't screw this party up as you always screw things up.", I grabbed him by his collar and lifted him up.
-Loki: "Don't you dare to blame me at anything. You left your own son to die!"
-Laufey: "That was years ago and now look at you."
-Loki: "It doesn't matter. I came here because of y/n.", I put him back on the ground.
-Laufey: "Why what happened?"
-Loki: "She is in a coma and doesn't wake up. Is there anything from here that could help her?"
-Laufey: "I don't know, but I could tell you, if you accept that you're my son."
-Loki: "You're not serious."
-Laufey: "I'm dead serious.", I decided to do what he wants, because I just want to help y/n.
-Loki: "Fine."
-Laufey: "She really means a lot to you. Follow me."

He made a smile that showed his success. I ignored it and followed him in this abandoned room. I hope that this is no trap. Laufey started to mix a blue liquid.

-Loki: "Why is this room abandoned?"
-Laufey: "Y/n abandoned it, because this is the place where she found out about her past."
-Loki: "And why did you take me here? You could have mixed that anywhere else, why here?"
-Laufey: "Figure it out. If you did you can come back."

With those words he left the room and I was alone in this abandoned room that looks like a cave. I walked to this table and saw blood on it. As soon as I sat on the chair the table started glowing.

[ I saw a Laufey and a woman holding a baby, but it wasn't me, it was someone else, a girl. Then the woman got pregnant again and I was born. The woman died and Laufey hated me for that. Now I understand why he said that I screw everything up. I saw Odin taking me and my life but really fast.

After that I saw this girl again and how she grew up. When I saw in her eyes, I saw her past. Two planets crashing into each other to create our universe and a human. Y/n. She fought in many wars and I saw how a guy poisoned her, I saw her dying.

Then I saw her laying in the arms of Laufey and as she grew up, she fought in many wars again, until she died. After that I saw her mother, I think she mentioned her name: Katarina Romanov, giving birth to her and her horrible life. ]

-Loki: "She is my sister!?", the table stopped glowing and I stood up.
-Laufey: "Well, not really. You're not related by blood or anything. It is her curse to die and to be born without any memories. Every year, if she's smart enough, she managed to come here and every year she finds out about her past again. She is always so sad when she sees this.", he came back into the cave.
-Loki: "And why can I see this? Isn't it just supposed to show the past?"
-Laufey: "I thought you found out already. It shows what you most crave for."
-Loki: "So y/n and I are not related?"
-Laufey: "No and yes, but actually no."
-Loki: "It doesn't matter, can you give me the liquid now?"
-Laufey: "Be careful with it. She could get addicted to this and she would turn into a monster. A monster that no one can stop."
-Loki: "Ok, farewell."
-Laufey: "Farewell what?"
-Loki: "Ugh, farewell, father."
-Laufey: "Farewell, son."

He has a plan. Why else would he want me to admit that I'm his son? I shook the thoughts out of my head and headed back to Midgard. When I arrived I explained the liquid to Strange and he gave it to her.
