Author's POV
"Sir, your stocks are going down." The middle aged man said to Yeonjun who was frustratedly flipping through the pages of the file in front of him.
"Do you know the cause?" Yeonjun asked with a look that said 'I'm going to kill them'.
"I-it's Mr Lee."
And that's all Yeonjun needed to call an emergency meeting.
"Lee thinks he's smart. First trying to shoot Soobin and now stealing all MY business deals." Yeonjun said with a gritted jaw at the conference table. "So we're gonna go and face him?" Taehyun asked. "Yes. He needs to know who he's messing with." Yeonjun replied.
"But Soobin hyung is injured." Beomgyu reasoned. "Yeah. If he comes he will end up taking more time to recover." Huening Kai said. "We'll not bring him along then. Yeonjun said simply. "We'll assign guards here in case Lee sends his men." He said and everybody agreed and left the room to prepare except for a few of Yeonjun's counselors.
"Don't you think that the girl is bringing you too much loss sir? I think she is involved with Lee on bringing you down." One of them said in a polite tone.
The secretary, who knew almost everything about Yeonjun tensed up. He knew how much his boss adored the girl and how much she changed him in a small span of time.
"Come again I didn't hear you." Yeonjun said.
Oh he had definitely heard what he said. He just wanted to see how much audacity the old hag had in him.
"I said-"
"I heard what you said the first time."
"Then why-"
"You're an idiot if you think that girl is involved." Yeonjun spat. "She is in a freaking coma. Do you think she would risk her own life for someone she is trying to bring down?" He continued with fire in his eyes.
The counselors realised their mistake and apologized and left the room.
"Say, Jungwon." He called out and his secretary's head shot up. "Yes sir? You need anything?" He asked in concern.
"Did- did I really do wrong letting Y/N stay here?" Yeonjun asked in sad skeptical tone. Jungwon knew then that his boss didn't need advice from a secretary but rather as a friend. So he say down on the nearest chair and spoke.
"Hyung so far what has y/n physically done for you?" Jungwon asked.
"Nothing."
"Correct. And what has she emotionally done for you?" He asked again making Yeonjun not answer.
"The people who make you happy in life are the keepers. The ones who want to only help you from outside but down give a shit about your mental health are the ones that need to go. Y/n has made you and the other hyungs much happier as per my notice. Not to mention she thinks of all of you as her real family. So in short, she is a keeper." Jungwon explained and Yeonjun blinked.
"You are only 16 and you give advice like an old wise man." Yeonjun said. Jungwon knew that he was indirectly applauding him for his response and that made him laugh.
"Your welcome hyung." He teased. "You stay back with soobin and Y/n and keep me updated ok?" Yeonjun stood up and ruffled the younger's head.
"I will boss."

Yeonjun's POV
I clicked his tongue feeling impatient that my enemy hadn't arrived yet. Just when I was considering leaving, the door to the warehouse opened with a creak from the rust of being shut for too long and in walked the Choi family's biggest rival since the very start.Lee Hyunwoo.
"You wanted to talk Choi?" Hyunwoo mocks me his lips lifted into a devious grin.
"No." I say keeping my cool and walking towards him and throwing a punch at him making him stagger.
"I want to fight." I breathe out as Hyunwoo scrambled up from the ground getting ready to fight.
Here goes nothing.
"If you even try to look in the direction of my family again I'll kill you for real." I threatened while Hyunwoo bled. "The-the girl your l-living with is my daughter." He hoarsed out. I paused in my movements.
Y/n is Hyunwoo's daughter and I didn't know?
"And why should I believe you?" I asked crouching to his level. "S-she r-ran away because she's weak." He said resting his back against his table only to be knocked down again by me. "Your saying that because you don't know how much trauma you have instilled in her." I said anger bubbling inside. "Why do you l-look so affected by what I said? Do you perhaps l-like her?" He asked and I didn't answer.
Do I?
Hyunwoo smirked. "Another reason to take her away from you." He said and I grabbed his collar and pulled him close. "You lay a finger on her and that's the last day you'll live. Remember that you wrinkly man." I sneered and threw him back on his hardwood floor. I pulled my gun out and pointed it towards him.
"This is for shooting my gang member once, and your daughter." I said and shot his shoulder. He let out a cry of pain. "Feel nice doesn't it?" I asked sarcasm oozing through my voice. "Since I'm a merciful man I'll leave you with one bullet inside your body." I say and turn around to leave.
"Sike." I said and turned around and shot him in his side.
"Hope you die." Was all I said before leaving the warehouse licking my lip, the metalic taste of blood lingering in my mouth.
The ride home was silent. Mostly because I was still processing that the girl I was housing was my enemy's daughter.
Surely if she was working with her father she wouldn't have gotten shot.
I guess I'll have to talk to you after you wake up then,
Lee Y/n.
