I looked around the tiny apartment wondering how someone could live comfortably like this. There was only a living room, where i was sitting on a mattress, a bathroom and kitchen from the looks of it.
She walked toward me with a pair of clothes in one hand and a first aid kit in another.
"Here." She said and handed me the clothes which consisted of a black hoodie and grey sweats. She kneeled in front of me and motioned to me to bring my face closer. I reluctantly obeyed.
"Sucks getting beaten up doesn't it?" She asked pitifully unscrewing the lid of the antiseptic liquid. "You can say that." I said sourly. She hummed as she slowly dragged the soaked piece of cotton accross my cuts.
"Ouch." I winced for the nth time. "I'm sorry I'll try to be more gentle." She said. At this time I couldn't help but question.
"Why did you help me? I blurted. She thought for a while before answering. "Because I cant turn a dead ear to someone who is clearly in pain." She continued to treat the bruises on my arms.
"Thank you." I muttered. "No problem." She said with a small smile.
"What's your name?" I asked curiously. "Y/n." She replied casually but my breath hitched.
"What's yours?" She asked this time packing up all her supplies.
"Yeonjun." I said and gave a small smile. "Nice meeting you." She said and walked back inside. I immediately took my phone from the charger Y/n had given and texted soobin.
"Do you want me to help you to the washroom to change?" Y/n asked as she came back inside. "Sure." I said and she helped me up. "Call for me when your done." She said and left. I slowly changed into the clothes trying not to aggravate my wounds.
"Would you like to eat? It's pretty late." She said looking at her phone after I came back. "Ah no thank you-"
And that's when my stomach betrayed me.
Y/n burst into laughter at my embarrassed red face. "Your stomach says otherwise." She said teaisngly. She walked towards the small kitchen and took out two cups of ready-to-eat ramen. She poured the hot water and stirred it while walking towards me
"Here. It's a little hot so wait for a bit." She said and sat across me and began to slurp on the noodles without hesitation. I stared at the ramen in the cup because it'd been a while since I ate like this.
Y/n had probably noticed my hesitation and spoke up. "Why aren't you eating?" She asked her cheeks stuffed with noodles. I stifled a chuckle at how she looked before saying, "I'm not used to eating such food."
She eyed me suspiciously. "Are you perhaps a chaebol?" And I breathed out. "Kind of. If being the leader of a mafia gang counts." I said muttering the last part.
