(Still Y/n's POV)
Yeonjun, was littered in bruises and cuts. His lip was bleeding and he looked as if he was going to pass out any minute.
"Yeonjun!" I exclaimed in shock lurching forward and letting his body fall limp onto me.
My breaths got heavier by each minute as tears pricked my eyes. Slowly pushing his off me I slung his arm over my shoulder and dragged him inside the house.
"Y/n......" He whispered when I set him down onto the couch making my heart ache. "What happened?" I asked my shaky palm resting on his cheek gently so I didn't hurt his wounds. He leaned into my palm as I felt my chest get heavier.
"Why do my own always betray me..." He croaked out and then I figured it must have something to do with his family.
"You'll get through it Jun." I say and ne nods sadly. "Wait here." I say and abruptly stand up from the couch and go rummaging through a transparent box kept on the coffee table.
Deciding to carry the entire thing, I kneel in front of Yeonjun who was about to fall asleep.
"Jun, let me clean your wounds first." I say shaking him slightly. He opened his eyes and sat up straight bringing his face close to where my hand was in the air.
I dragged the cloth soaked across his bruise on his lip and he flinched making me flinch making me drop the cloth.
"This is giving me serious Deja Vu." I say and continue treating his wounds and cuts on his face, unaware of his gaze on me.
"Will you leave me too?" He asked. I looked up and locked eyes with him.
"Never."
3rd person's POV
"Are you hurt anywhere else?" Y/n asked after cleaning the blood off his face and hands.
He nodded pulling his shirt up making y/n flustered seeing his toned body.
"Here." He said pointing to his torso and shoulder which seemed to be bleeding. Putting away her awkwardness, Y/n cleaned up both his shoulder and stomach and began to wrap bandages around them.
Yeonjun's eyes fell to Y/n's hand as his slender fingers wrapped around the very familiar bracelet.
"Where'd you get this?" He asked his tone dead serious.
"It's mine. I've had it since I was a kid." Y/n says with furrowed eyebrows.
Yeonjun's eyes pierced into Y/n's honey brown ones staring back at him with curiosity as he searched for a hint of untruth but he found none. He heaved in a deep breath feeling his heart race.
"Y/n..." He said his eyes holding an unknown emotion. Y/n hummed in response feeling confused by what had gotten into the man in front of her.
"Can I please have a hug?"
The way he asked for a hug melted Y/n soft heart making her smile softly as she stood up from the couch and hugged Yeonjun. His rested comfortably on Y/n's stomach while his hands encircled her waist.
Y/n had her hand around Yeonjun's neck while the other one played with his hair calming the storm inside of him down.
"It really late. We should go sleep." Y/n said looking at the clock. 5:59 am
"Please hold me for now y/n. That's all I ask." He said looking up at her his gaze compelling her to continue stroking his head as he closed his eyes feeling peace.
Because she was his safe place.
Her mere existence,
Was healing Yeonjun.
~
Sunlight seeped into the room through the small crack in the window illuminating the room where Y/n and Yeonjun lay asleep in each others arms. Y/n had her face buried into Yeonjun's bare chest both their arms around each other's waist.
Y/n stirred rolling out of Yeonjun's hold and opened her eyes, squinting it because of the light. She fumbled around for her phone and switched it on to read the time.
8:30 am
And she had school in half an hour.
She jolted off the bed and stood up but before she could walk away a hand latched onto her wrist and pulled her back down making her almost crash into the boy she was rooming with if it wasn't for her hands.
Her hands were on either side of Yeonjun's head as she stared at him in shock, her heart pounding with her rib cage.
And and that very awkward moment, the door to their bedroom opened.
