Y/n wasted no time in standing up on her knees and hugging Yeonjun while tears of joy flowed out of her eyes. Yeonjun hugged back his hands on her back and his face against her torso.

"I missed you so much." y/n cried. "I thought i-i'd never see you again." She said pulling away and sitting on the floor but her tears didn't stop. 

Yeonjun's hand reached out to wipe away her tears while his hand lingered on her cheek, his thumb brushing against her cheekbone. 

"I missed you too. I thought you'd died along with Mrs.Lee in the car crash but im so glad you've been here all along. Shit, i feel so stupid for not noticing." Yeonjun's voice slightly cracked.

Yeonjun stood up while y/n looked up at him from the ground. He put out his hand for her to take, just like she had done when she first met him but now their roles were reversed.

"Taking up after me I see." Y/n chuckled placing her hand in his and standing up while Yeonjun just laughed along.

"I'm glad it was you." Yeonjun said sitting down on the grass. The two had moved from their awkward position in the hallway to the backyard where they had once had spicy chicken and soju in the middle of the night.

"I had a feeling it was you because you're still a child like back then." Y/n said making the Male roll his eyes at her.

"Was it scary?" Yeonjun asked and somehow y/n didn't need any explanation to know what he was talking about.

"It was. And then you left and Hyunwoo went psycho and then taeyong left too." Y/n said placing her hands behind her and leaning on them sprawling her legs and looking out to the sky.

"I wanted to come to you once I heard Mrs. Lee passed but we had moved and I was too young to travel." Yeonjun said with a small sigh.

"Hey don't blame yourself for what happened. None of us could control it we were just kids." Y/n said noticing the solemn expression on yeonjun's face.

"Yeah I guess that's true." He hummed his features relaxing visibly.

"But..."

"But what?" Yeonjun asked looking at the girl who was about to say something serious.

"You were such an idiot back then." She said and burst into laughter as Yeonjun turned red.

"A-as if you weren't!" He retorted pointing a finger at the laughing girl.

"Remember that one time you wore your pants backward to school please I almost pissed myself when I saw you." Y/n recalled laughing even harder.

"Remember when you- when you-" Yeonjun stammered while y/n laughed harder at his attempts.

"AHA! REMEMBER WHEN YOUR SHIRT GOT STUCK IN THE DOOR THE OTHER DAY AND YOU ALMOST FELL FACE FIRST I HAVE A VIDEO OF THAT." Yeonjun said laughing finally having some blackmail over y/n.

"You're so mean I hate you." Y/n said with a pout.

Yeonjun leaned forward and booped her nose.

"Weren't you crying over me just a few minutes ago?"

Y/n face turned a shade of deep red as she was reminded of her state in the hallway.

"I hate you. With all my being Choi." She said with an angry frown.

"Mhn sure you do~" He chimed as y/n shoved him their playful bickering continuing endlessly.

"They finally realised it eh?" Soobin said to Taehyun and Beomgyu.

"Took their dumbasses long enough." Taehyun said with a small smile on his lips.

"They seem so much more happier when they're together." Beomgyu said endearingly. "They should just get married."

"Beom stop talking about marriage all the time."

"I wanna be the host though."

"Too bad for all of you I'm gonna be the host."

"Yeah and say tomorrow by todoro and embarrass our gang?"

"That was one time!"
