Saudade [Choi Yeonjun]

Y/n's POV

I held onto Taehyun's sleeve as we walked out the back door and toward the black car that stood on the desolate road. Taehyun didn't really seem to mind because he kinda knew I was scared.

We settled inside the car with Beomgyu snuggled against me while Soobin decided to be our driver.

"Where are we supposed to go?" Taehyun asked. Soobin sighed securing his seatbelt.

"Hyung told us not to wait so we have a find a place for a while before things settle down." He said.

"Yeah but where?" Huening Kai asked making everything dead silent because everyone was thinking.

And then I decided to speak up.

"I know a place." I say quietly. Everyone perks up almost immediately looking at me eagerly.

"I used to live there when I first left home. The landlady really pitied me and said that she would keep the two storey house empty for anytime I decide to come back." I explained.

"Where exactly is this place?"

"Hongdae."

"That would be about 100 kilometres from Seoul. But it'll do." Soobin says and turns the engine off as the car sped into the night.

Time skip ✨

We stopped in front of a decent looking house with a very peaceful neighborhood.

Of course it's going to be peaceful it's the middle of the night what am I even saying-

I pressed onto the button twice making a melodious bell go off inside the house.

The door opened but was stopped by the safety chain behind which we saw a lady in her 70's peering at us.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Grandma it's me. Y/n." I say with my soft voice so as to not startle the poor lady.

"Y/n? My sweetheart y/n?" I smiled at her words and nodded. She quickly undid the chain before embracing me making me feel warm inside.

"Oh my you've become thin." She said pushing me away from herself and taking a good look at me making me shy.

"I'll make you a nice meal if you first tell me why you're here at 4 in the morning with these handsome gentlemen with you." She said making all the boys awkwardly clear their throat.

"They're my good friends. I was staying with them until recently we got attacked." I say and she steps aside opening the door wide.

"Well come in then kiddo's. Any friend of y/n is welcome here." She says.

"Ah we don't want to trouble you Grandma. I wanted to ask whether that two floor house I lived in is still available." I say politely.

"Of course it is! I told you I'd keep it vacant for you." I grinned at her answer.

"Can we please use it for a week or two? Till the chaos settles?" Soobin speaks up.

"You may. But on one condition," she says staring us all down.

"You have to eat all your meals here."

I didn't want to give in but I knew she loved cooking for people so I agreed as she handed me the keys to the house.

I thanked her and walked with the guys towards the house which looked the same from when I had left.

"All of us will have to share rooms here because there's three rooms." I explained.

Beomgyu silently waddled over to Soobin and hugged his arm meaning he wanted Soobin as his roommate. Huening Kai shuffled and stood next to Taehyun, drowsily rubbing his eyes with his fist.

"I'll have to share with Yeonjun I guess." I say and shrug as everyone quietly made their way into random rooms.

I texted Yeonjun the address as soon as I entered a room. Tiredly flopping on the comfort of the mattress, I took out my clothes and arranged them in one of the two closets in the room.

I turned the lights off and moved to the living room in hopes of waiting for Yeonjun. I settled onto the couch and mindlessly scrolled through my social media feeling very distracted.

I was beginning to get drowsy when finally the long awaited doorbell rang. I jolted off the bed and quickly opened the door not expecting to see a sight so terrible.

I'm baaaaaaackkk

I know this chapter is real short but dw I'll be uploading more frequently because I'm on summer break now 😌
