As Hannie, I'm a pastry chef. But as Jeonghan, I was a hired killer. It's been a long time since I left my Yoon Jeonghan life though.

"Hi chef. Your brownie loaf is so yummy. When will you bake one?" A regular customer of my bakeshop asked me. She has 160cm height, looking upon me with alluring rounded eyes, pale skin, fetching red lips, dark brows and short charcoal like black hair.

As if I was born to smile at her every time she stood in front of me, I answered, "I'll bake brownie loaf tomorrow. Make sure you come to buy one."

"Really?" She spoke with faint innocent giggle. Although I am still unaware about her name, her friendly approaches drew me closer. Maybe because after I quitted my dark past, she is the first one who treated me like a good friend.

"Hmmm. I really will."

"Woah. Mr. Pastry chef is so kind."

Due to my Bakeshop's popularity, it is not weird for me to think that everyone in this neighborhood has known my name, Hannie. However, this cute customer always calls me in formal term. It makes her more unique and attractive since girls who have captivated in my looks call me "Mr. Hannie" with a thought of flirting. 'Hard-to-get game is always the best', I thought.

"If you know me better, you probably pull back those words," I chuckled, giving her exchanges.

"Well, if you know me better, you will probably won't believe everything that came from my mouth. I'm a sweet liar," she retorted and made the both of us laugh like we are alone.

When I decided to live as a normal guy, I promised to myself that I'll be guilty of my sins for the rest of my life. That also comes of planning to stay single forever. Why would I marry an innocent woman and make her a wife of a killer?

However, whenever I see her, my greed urged me to break that promise.

"Good morning Mr. Pastry chef. I came here to get my brownie loaf."

"Good morning. You came at the right time. Actually, I was waiting for you. Here is your brownie loaf, hot from oven."

"Yey!" She received the paperbag with a wide smile. "How much is this?"

I leaned closer then whispered, "It's on the house."

"You must be kidding!" She gasped, slowly placing the hand over the mouth. When he placed her hand down, that's when we both realized the small distant between our faces.

One wrong move, our lips might touch each other.

"R-Right?" She stuttered then stepped back a little away from me. After she did, the breath I held for exactly ten seconds heaved out from my stiffed mouth.

"N-No. I'm not k-kidding."

'I stuttered. I did stutter while scratching my nape.'

Clearing my throat then smiling like I ain't affected, I added, "Think of this as my gift to my loyal customer. In exchange, please continue showing your support to my bakeshop."

"That's not hard. Your pastries always exceed my expectation," she responded with reddened cheeks.

"Well then, take care on your way and enjoy your brownie loaf."

"Thank you. I will enjoy this." She turned around, about to step at the place where she won't hear me if ever I call her back again.

"Can I date you?" I whispered to myself. Then she suddenly looked back as if she heard my words. But I'm sure she did not.
