As a 32-year old man, I never thought that I will bring a drunk married woman back to her house. And here's the plot twist: I just found out that her husband is no other than the guy who was head over heels for my step sister.

"Why are you with my wife?" Joshua asked.

The three of us were standing at the entrance. (Y/n) was half conscious on my arms while Joshua was in front of me. Before I replied, my eyes slowly slipped into his empty fingers. It's true. Just like (Y/n) said, they both aren't wearing their wedding rings because their relationship doesn't involve romantic feelings.

"Good eve, sir. I'm a bartender in a bar and your wife got drunk. So I brought her here."

I knew that my excuse didn't make any sense. In fact, my decision to bring her in front of her husband is the meanest idea out of hundred options. But still, I can't left her alone with this state. Also, basing on her stories, I really wanted to meet this freak who turned out to be someone I knew.

"Don't give me a sh*t," Joshua chuckled but with annoyance. "Are you done flirting with other girls that..." He pulled her away from me before he continued, "...your next target are married women like my wife?"

"Hmmm," (Y/n) groaned, as if she was hurt by Joshua's sudden pulling.

"Sir, your wife and I aren't in that kind of relationship," I murmured.

It's true. Although I confessed my feelings, it doesn't change the fact that for now, (Y/n) and I doesn't share any rendezvous connection. She's married and I don't want to disturb her with immoral ideas.

"Oh really?" Joshua pierced me with a glare. "I heard from Bea that you are dating with multiple women behind her back. What a freak."

I drank 10 bottles of beer to be exact. But yeah, I'm completely sobered. Brushing my hair upward, I chuckled, "Behind her back? Excuse me? I don't need my stepsister's approval to date."

It always like this - me trying to avoid my sister, and this guy who chased after her. This love triangle made me the bad guy. But dude, do I really need to fall in love with Bea just because she didn't choose Joshua?!

"Talking about being freak," I added in sarcastic tone. "Look at the mirror, you sh*t. I heard from YOUR WIFE that you bring your woman while she's present. Now who's the real badass here?"

Joshua, somehow, looks surprised. "S-She s-said that?" Then he stared at her face, in a worried way.

"I won't do anything with your wife, sir, " I said so he could diverted his eyes back to mine. "I'll wait for five months. But if you're considerate, what about signing the divorce paper tomorrow? Everyone will be happy."

"W-What?!"

When I turned around, my smile subsided.

"Hey! Don't you ever dare come back again?! I'll kill you if you go near her! You heard that! Get lost!"

His loud voice faded whenever I took each steps away. (Y/n)'s phone was still on my pocket. But I won't give it back tonight, for this would be my best excuse to see her again tomorrow.

Five months are long. She doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

The next morning, my head was half destroyed with a tsunami of dizziness. I drank a warm water with honey mixed on it. Soothing my empty stomach, I wonder if (Y/n) woke okay.
