#63 "When Seducing Went Wrong" (part 3)

According from the original plot, how did Mingyu fall in love to Jasmine? It was when Jasmine attended his fan signing even if she isn't a fan of his. Her friend is an avid fan of Mingyu but because she got sick, she gave her ticket to Jasmine; that's how they met.

That exact fansigning date will happen in the future. And so, before it does, I attended his early fanmeet and planned to seduce him the same way.

I'll act as someone who isn't attracted to him while asking for his sign on his latest album. At first, I was confident that I'll perform well. However, the moment I saw his face in person, my weak heart fell away.

'Oh gosh. How come someone be this pretty?!'

He is the perfect definition of tall, tanned and handsome! He has nice build, golden skin, small face, wolf-like eyes, straight nose and a mole on his cheek that makes him even more attractive. But his looks is not the only problem.

While reading the book, Mingyu is a character that easily catches the reader's heart. His badboy yet clumsy personality is really romantic! Thus, I found it hard to hide these heart shape things on my eyes while staring at him.

'But I have to protect him. I have to change his sorrowful ending,' this thought woke me up from drowning into his charm.

While standing in line, next to the woman he is currently talking, I slapped my cheeks really hard. But I forgot that I am holding a hard case of his album so when I slapped my cheeks, the hard corner of the album hit my face. "Ouch! Sh*t!" I accidentally winced.

My shout was too loud.

Slowly turning around, I caught gazes towards me. Some laughs and some wore expression of disgust. I did curse so loud, that's why.

As I worried that this is not the time to draw attention, I met Mingyu's eyes. He is...and maybe 'was' staring at me.

'This is not good! He fell in love with Jasmine because she looks innocent! If he heard me curse that way, it's game over.'

"Shiiiita," I said out loud. "I wonder if my friend Shita is okay. She's at the hospital right now. Ha ha ha!"

Mingyu bowed down and continued on signing the album. People around gave me look like: 'She's crazy. Let's avoid her.'

I clicked my tongue then blamed myself inwardly, 'Great, (Y/n)! You got his interest in weird way. Argh!'

Minute later, it is finally my turn.

In the book, Jasmine approached him with nonchalant gaze. She gave the album without saying anything. For that, Mingyu thought she's different from his other fans.

So when I approached him, I did my best to hide my smile. I frowned so hard while giving the album onto his hand.

The celebrity who's sitting in front of me has lifted his head. As Mingyu looked at my face, his eyes widened. However, it isn't the expression I wanted to receive. He looks surprised... and annoyed at the same time.

'Why? Is it because my expression is in the middle of acting nonchalant and the real me who's celebrating inside?'

"A-Are you okay?" Worried, he asked.

'This is good! This response is what I need!'

In the book, Jasmine and Mingyu's first meeting went like this:

[ "Are you okay?" Mingyu asked. "Yes, sir. Please sign the album," Jasmine coldly reply. Chuckling in this absurdness, Mingyu replied, "You look like you came here out of your will." Jasmine scratched her nape then answered, "S-Sorry sir. I really came here because my friend who is a fan of yours can't go. I'm sorry if I offended you." With her answer, a sweet smile formed into his lips. Then he uttered, "Cute. What is your name?"]
