#57 "Score to My Heart" (part two)

The training camp at my family's penthouse starts today. It isn't actually my first time in a training camp since my older brother had his basketball team held their camp here. But everyone right now treats me like newbie. I wanted to shut them up but Captain Seungcheol is one of them so I just played along. Boys love it when they protect a weak looking girl.

'Anyway. I already accepted that captain won't like me back, because he is already in a relationship.'

"But that doesn't mean my feelings will change overnight," I whispered to myself.

"Of what?"

"Omg!"

My butt fell down on the floor and a pile of towels I was holding has scattered around me. It was all because of this man who suddenly whispered on my ear. He even blew air on my nape! Argh!

"Oh no! Sorry for surprising you," he said but doesn't sound apologetic at all.

"The next time you do it again, I'll smack you," I warned, picking the towels back on my arm.

"Calm down manager. At this rate, you might pass out. Are you that excited to sleep under the same roof with the guy you lov..."

Before anyone would hear him, I shove all of these towels on his mouth.

"H-Hey! I can't...! (Y/n)! I can't breathe! You...!"

Usually, Jeonghan and I are good friends. But he gets on my nerves whenever he tease me by using my weakness. Well, he is the only one who know my one-sided love to Seungcheol. And there's possibility that he doesn't want me to continue this feelings since I'll only get hurt in the end.

"The stars above are pretty," I commented while looking at the sky.

By the time I finished organizing things players need after their intense training, I went outside our penthouse to stargaze.

This place is far from city. It is so quiet, and when you closed your eyes, you'll hear the sound of the crickets, the crystal clear river which is a few kilometer away and...someone's steps?

Someone is approaching me.

"Manager. What are you doing outside? It's cold," said by the most gentle guy in our team.

"Hey Joshua, where did you go to just now?" I asked. But even if he won't reply, those two canned juices on his hands have already answered my question. "You went out to get juice? If you wanted, you should have told me. We have helpers in this penthouse you know. Besides, it's dangerous to go out. You are not even familiar at this place."

Seriously. My manager mode just made me a nagger like a mother.

"It's okay. I'm sure the helpers of this penthouse are all tired. Besides, I came back uninjured. However, I'm sorry for going out without saying a thing."

This guy is too kind. He has the looks and great personalities. Then why he isn't that popular in my school?

"Why did you buy two juices, by the way?"

"Ah these? Jeonghan said he wanted to drink this so he asked me to buy."

Okay okay. He's the type that easy to bully. Girls hates it when guy is so easy to manipulate so it is maybe the reason why he's unpopular.

"Don't let that jerk bully you. The next time he does, tell it to me. I'll beat him for you."

Joshua chuckled, very sweet like honey. Actually, the two of us aren't really close. He rarely talks and I don't open a conversation unless the other side has approached me first. But I think, this training camp will help me get closer to our team's shy libero.
