Woozi is a criminal and psychological profiler. What does criminal and psychological profiler's job? He is a law enforcement agent who identifies likely suspects, links cases that may have been committed by the same perpetrator and predicts the identified offender's future actions. He also helps police investigators to narrow down and to analyze the behavioral indicators of the crime. Thus, looking in one thing, hearing one word, staring at one's eyes, Woozi can tell almost 80% of someone's overall personalities and activities.

Now imagine if you have a boyfriend like him. Reality speaking, it could be hard.

"Sorry for being late. I woke up just now," Lucy, his girlfriend explained before she perched down at the seat across him.

Woozi responded with a smile. "Your make-up is perfect. For someone who woke up so late, there's no way you'll have that perfect look."

"T-There's a jam of traffic!" she added.

"Which way did you take?" he asked.

"At the Johgey way. Why?" she answered.

Her boyfriend picked up his phone and searched the so-said way she took. After searching something, he said, "The traffic in that way is not that heavy. If we calculate the kilometer from your house to this café, it'll only take you 20 minutes. Also..." Woozi pointed her face. "You're wearing a new shade of lipstick. That means... you went to some beauty shop before coming here. How's your shopping?" He forged a smile.

Though he has dropped lot of evidences, Lucy still tried her best to defend herself. "I didn't buy anything! My mom gave this lipstick to me."

"Ahhh," Woozi nodded. He sipped on his juice before his eyes went on her sling bag. "So your mom gave you a lot that your bag is full? Why would you bring that many when you planned to use your small bag? You should bring a bigger one."

She looked at her bag where she hid the other make-up products she bought. She was all red, biting her lower lip and clenching her fists. "Woozi, that's it. I'm so tired of this. Do you think that acting like you know everything will make you cool?"

Woozi loosened his neck tie before retorting, "You were gonna use that to break up with me. Right? However, before you perched down on that seat, I saw you exchanged glances at the guy sitting on the table, few meters away. He came here, before you, while catching his breath. He looked at me and when our gaze met, he avoided it. When you entered the shop, you were also catching your breath as if you came from a long run. The two of you glanced at each other as you sat down. So, the real reason why you were being so grumpy is because you are finding another way to break up. Lucy, you cheat on me behind my back. You are secretly dating the guy who is literally sitting behind your back. Now, I'M THE ONE WHO WILL BREAK UP WITH YOU. Bye."

He stood up and fixed the suit he's wearing. Then he walked away without few more words to say.

Everyone might think that dating a profiler like Woozi is one of the most difficult privileged in the world. But how about his side? Wasn't it hard for him to fall in love since he tends to get suspicious, to read her actions and to predict everything?

Fortunately, out of 7.8 billion people in the world, there is this one girl named (Y/n) whom he couldn't read.

She isn't his friend. She also isn't his stepsister, or his fiancée, or his childhood friend, or his co-worker, or his enemy, or his cousin, or his past lover in his past life. Simply, she's just a girl who is living with him under the same roof because she has no place to go. Woozi's mother welcomed her in their house, fed her and clothed her. She has no family left and she's under graduate. Now, while living with Lee family, she is looking for a job so she could live on her own.

If Woozi must tell his relationship with this girl, maybe he'll say, "For me, she's invisible."

In optimistically speaking, being invisible for Woozi makes her special.

"Good morning Woozi. How was your date with your girlfriend?" (Y/n) asked when she saw him drinking his milk at the kitchen.

Woozi placed the glass on the sink. He turned around ate a slice of bread.

"So it turned bad. Tsk tsk," she said. (Y/n) walked closer to him and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. "Don't worry dude. Someday, you'll find a girl who will accept your height."

Showing less expression, Woozi put her arm away. He perched down and read the newspaper.

"My height is only 5'2," (Y/n) shared to her uninterested listener. "During high school, I once had a crush with my classmate who is 6 footer. When I confessed to him, he declined me because of my height. He said, I look like a little kid when I stand beside him. Awful right?"

Woozi flipped another page.

"Ahh! I have a job in a ramen shop!" she continued. "If you have time, you can visit our shop. I'll start my work there tomorrow."

Woozi closed the newspaper and looked at the blank space. If there's one thing that makes her unreadable, that's because he isn't interested on her, EVEN JUST A BIT.

"Woozi, Woozi." Now she sat down beside him. "Have I ever told you that you're cute?"

"No," finally he spoke. "If you want something, a money or whatever, name it. And stop bothering me. Please."

"Eyy. I'm not saying this because I need something from you."

That's true. No matter how Woozi tried to understand her mind, he couldn't find an answer. 'She's an alien,' he whined inside his head.

"Woozi."

"What?"

"Will you marry me?"

Woozi crumpled the newspaper as he looked at her with widened eyes. He detached his lips and about to complained, but before he could, (Y/n) suddenly pecked on his lips.

"...!"

"You know, the holes of your nose tend to get bigger when you're annoyed," she laughed. In speed of light, she ran away from him and went inside her room.

Blushing so hard, Woozi felt his heart beating so fast. Because she's something he couldn't read, she makes him deal with his unprepared emotions.

This is the story of a smart profiler and a dumb jobless girl. Whether this is a romance genre, comedy, action or mystery... it is the reader's job to investigate.
