Marrying someone without feelings involve and then falling in love right after is one of the most complicated relationship story that 5% people in the world might experience. And I, Joshua Hong, is one of them.
"I'm really sorry, Joshua," Bea shyly murmured. We were sitting on the swing, eating ice cream while looking above the starry night sky. "For suddenly coming in your house. I am really sorry. I just... don't know where to go anymore. It feels suffocating."
Licking my vanilla ice cream, I chuckled, "It's okay." I breathed out for a second then uttered, "Hey, you should find someone else. Why are you wasting your time over that stupid Junhui?"
"Are you jealous?"
We looked at each other then laughed.
"N...o," I said in slow pace.
"Tss, you were really jealous at him back then," Bea teased that made me groaned in annoyance.
"Shut up~"
"Shut up," she mimicked me in annoying tone.
Bea, Junhui and I were in a love triangle before. I loved Bea, but Bea loves Junhui. However, Junhui is a freak who dates tons of woman just for fun. Bea once rejected me, and fortunately, I already moved on.
"It's not like I can't stop it even if I wanted to," she murmured, digging her foot on the sand as she swayed her swing a little. "But every time Junhui refused me, it hurts like hell."
I just nodded my head and ate with a sigh.
"What about you?" She asked but I did not look back. "When will you confess your feelings to your wife?"
The night sky was clear. There's no sign of rain but when I heard her words, it felt like I was strike by a lightning. After I dropped my ice cream on the ground, I looked at Bea with widened eyes. "H-How did you know that?"
"Mister Joshua, we've been friends for too long. It is really obvious," she explained while shaking head.
Was it obvious? It shouldn't be! I hid it very well, especially from my wife.
"Drop your ego and confess already when it's not late," Bea commented.
If only (Y/n) is an ordinary woman, I should have say it from the day I admitted my feelings. But...
"Didn't you see her before? You went in our house but she looked at us apathetically before she went inside her room. My wife doesn't care about me at all," I murmured then stared at my wasted ice cream on the ground.
"So, did you hug me to make her jealous?"
Finding her gaze, I saw her narrowed her eyes to me in suspicion. "No. Making her jealous is a dumb idea. Because she won't feel it. Never."
"Well," Bea sighed. "...it was my fault for coming. Everyone who'll see it will think that I'm the bitch."
"Yes you are," I agreed. "So stop coming into our house anymore."
"Woah. You're so cold, Joshua," she laughed.
"So be thankful that you rejected me before. Because this is the real me."
"Geez," she chuckled. When her laugh subsided, her serious response returned. "Anyway, I have a question. How did you like your wife? You told me before that you will never ever see her as a woman. So I'm really curious right now."
