Junhui

There is an instrument store across the Peter street. Whenever I passed by, I saw a man in front of the piano.

The man's face is no joke; something that can stop the war if being pretty is a weapon. His eyes are rounded yet rigid. It looks drowsy with his heavy eyelids but that makes him sexy. His nose is pointed and his thin lips are heart shaped.

One day, I visited the shop to buy some parts of my guitar. I entered with the ringing bells that are attached at the door. "Ahmmm, hello?" I greeted.

No one was around except that handsome guy on the piano. 'I think he didn't hear me.'

As I slightly opened my lips, the man gently placed his fingers on the piano tiles. Words left me when the melancholic music lingers onto my soul. His piece is so good to hear: it was slow and sorrowful. I even imagined flower petals falling down to me.

The sunlight is dazzling through the big glass window, and so he also does.

"Good day, do you want something?" I was woke up by the store's owner who just came from the inner room.

  "H-Huh?" I blurted.

The man who were playing stopped his fingers. He looked at us and our gaze met.

This isn't the first time I saw a gorgeous guy but when his eyes met mine, my body fell in a deep pit. It was as if I was drowned without water. And instead of my lungs, my heart was filled of his water like crystal thirst breaker. I've felt this before — the beauty of one sided crush.

"I n-need a-acoustic strings for my g-guitar," I said after I avoided his gaze real quick.  PHEW~ THAT WAS SO INTENSE.

  "Oh sure. Wait here ma'am."

From the day onwards, I always visited the shop to buy unnecessary stuffs. Mom complains whenever she saw unneeded things I bought from the shop. Our fights are always hilarious; with me, ending it by saying, "mom, I think I'm a music genius, that's why."

The handsome man remained mysterious to me. I don't know his name, where he lives and why is he always there at the instrument shop. But still, seeing him makes my day.

"Good morning miss (Y/n)!" The owner greeted me.

"Good..." I looked around before continuing my long pause. "... morning."

Suddenly, the owner burst a low chuckle. I tilted my head in wonder. 'Is he laughing at me?'

"Are you looking for my nephew?" He asked.

'Nephew?! Oh! That's explained why he's always here!'

  "Huh?" I played innocent.

"Don't worry. You aren't the only one who always came here to see him."

  Okay. This is embarrassing.

"I d-don't come here to see him, m-mister," my lies continued.

"Okay okay," he shrugged. "So what are you buying?"

Now that I was too focused to defend myself, I forgot to think what I should buy. Let's see...

I saw a cute guitar's pick near the staff room. So I pointed it... "That one!" Exactly at that time, the handsome nephew came out from the staff room door. My finger was pointing his direction which made me blushed.

"You wanted to buy my nephew? Junhui?" The owner laughed.

  Oh no!

I dropped my hand right away. Yikes! I wanna get out of here!

"Huh?" The nephew murmured while pointing himself.

  "Nothing Junhui," his uncle reassured.

Anyway, this is a good thing. I finally got to know his name after weeks!

"That's my nephew, Junhui," his uncle introduce while shooting gaze on the man who just sat in front of the piano. "He's a pianist and he came here for vacation. By next month, he'll go overseas for piano competition."

  'Wow. That's cool~'

"I see. Does he has a girlfriend?" I blurted out but soon covered my mouth. What was that (Y/n)?

Uncle spoke lovely, "Haha nope. But if you like him, don't expect too much."

  Somehow I feel insulted.

"Is it because I am not pretty?" I asked.

"No," uncle chuckled. Then he suddenly shouted to Junhui. "Junhui!"

Junhui looked back and my heart skipped beat again.

"向我们的顾客问好, (Y/n)."

Junhui smiled at me as he waved his hand. "你好 (Y/n)."

  "用英语打招呼, Junhui."

Junhui laughed, "No no no. English is DANGEROUS."

With that, his uncle  looked at my surprised face. "See? He thinks English is dangerous so the two of you won't understand each other."
