Nobody is perfect. For example, in my case as a girl, there's a lot of procedure to take so I can look pretty. To avoid pimple breakouts, I need to clean myself as many as possible. If I have pimples, concealing my insecurities with make up is a must. To look presentable, I have to watch my steps in public, make a feminine laugh, get my nails done, make sure to visit my dentist...etc.

Boys are not excluded. Like me, everyone tries their best to hide their imperfections; whether it's our outside or inside appearance.

Today, I was on my way to a blind date that was set by a friend of mine. I bought a sleeveless red dress a month ago and it's my plan to wear that today. But unfortunately, I haven't wax my armpits. My underarms are like a forest right now so wearing my sleeveless is a big NO. Therefore, I wore a simple loose brown top and yellow skirt.

"Hi. My name is Vernon. You must be (Y/n), right?" Said by this handsome person in front of me.

I told you that no one is perfect, right? But looking at him, I suddenly doubt my words. I already saw his picture but to see it personally, gosh! It's surreal! Blonde hair, fair complexion, thick manly brows, straight nose, long eyelashes, red lips and sharp jaw; this person across me has a Greek goddess face that made me think if it is possible to be that pretty! It's a cliche way to describe how handsome he is but this is what I thought upon seeing him.

"Y-Yeah. My name is (Y/n). Nice to meet you," I greeted, holding my chest and forming a gentle smile on my lips. Although I really wanted to shout and jump in joy, I should stay calm.

'Let's stay calm and fangirl later at home,' I said to myself.

"Same here. Hmmm, did you eat already?" He asked. Even his voice is soothing to hear. But he spoke a little to fast. Is he a rapper? No way. My friend told me his occupation.

  "I haven't," I replied.

"Then let's order something." By the time he raised his hand, a waiter approached us.

It was him who suggested this restaurant. So... It is natural to get surprise at the price of the food, RIGHT?! I MEAN,  A PASTA DISH AT $50?!

"What do you like to eat?"

"Ah that..." I folded the menu. "Ahmmm, e-everything looks good."

Yeah. And I'm positive that I don't have enough budget for everything.

"Yeah. Don't rush," he chuckled, but not to mock me but to make me feel comfortable. "We have a lot of time today. I wanted to treat you with a meal you'll enjoy."

Did he say he will treat me? Treat me? So that means...!

"Oh no! This is our first meeting! How could I let you pay for my meal?" I denied but inwardly, I was hoping that he won't change his mind.

"How could I let a lady pay for our first date?"

  Date?! Omg!

"I'll pay for it of course. So choose at your heart's content," he added.

Jackpot! Not only he's rich, but he is also considerate. This man is perfect. Perfect!

"So embarrassing but... I want to have this steak." I pointed the second most expensive dish in the menu. "Medium rare."

If I'll add another weakness of mine, then I say that I'm a thick faced person who loves it when other treats me. Who's say no to free food?
