Junhui brought me to his condo unit for the first time. We aren't a couple who'll spend a sweet night together so some may wonder what kind of relationship the two of us have. Well, he is just a person I met somewhere and had fun talking with for two months. We are a little bit interested of each other but it is too early to call it love.
"What do you want to drink?" He asked while he was busy on taking off his brown leather jacket. Wrapping it around the chair, he eyed me who's on the gray couch.
"I'm fine with anything," I answered as I crossed my legs.
His voice, that kept on fading as he walked towards the kitchen, continued, "So you're okay with wine?"
My eyebrows raised up at his offer. I did follow him here but that doesn't mean I wanted to do something more than a talk. "No. Cold water is enough." Then I heard his faint giggles afterwards.
I took a short time looking around his house while he's away. His interior, so far, has typical minimalist designs. What caught my attention is the piano on the side which reminded me the first day we met each other.
'I wanted to hear him play,' I wished inwardly. Then Junhui came back from the kitchen with two glasses of water. I wasn't sure if he caught me staring at his piano when he suddenly said, "pretty piano, right? I got it as a gift from a friend."
Looking back at him who already perched down beside me, I nodded my head. "Ahhh."
When I stared at the piano again I thought it's very absurd to receive such expensive gift from a friend. Well, coming here is also weird. So I asked, "Junhui, do you have a girlfriend?"
He stopped drinking his water midway. With his wet lips, he responded, "I had. But we broke up."
Jun is very handsome. It's only natural to think that he has tons of experience in dating. It isn't a big deal for me because I had one before. Six months have passed since I broke up with my boyfriend so there is no lingering feelings anymore. Thus, I am not guilty in case I start a new love life with Jun.
"When did you break up?" My whispering voice reached to him, it was as if I was being careful of asking his past; because men don't like it when they were asked of their old relationships.
Jun brushed up his bangs and answered, "A week ago."
I almost spit the water I was drinking. With widened eyes, I eyed him and found him smiling seriously at the blank space.
'What the hell?! Does it mean I'm hanging out with a guy for two months when he was dating his girlfriend?!'
"But we've been in contact for two months," I laughed sarcastically.
"That's right," he sighed. "I felt bored with her so I decided to end it."
Clenching my fists, I asked, "What do you mean?"
"Being with you is more fun." He tilted his head towards my side, grinning proudly. "I realized that I don't love her anymore so I broke up with her. New relationship is more exciting. Don't you think so?"
I don't think so. Breaking up with someone just because you're tired of her isn't a good thing.
I swallowed the anger and let it grew hot inside my belly. Giving him a piercing stare, I stood up and picked my bag. "I'm going. Don't contact me anymore."
"Huh?"
Before he could grabbed me back, my feet already stride towards the entrance. I know it is too sudden. But I am boiling in anger. How could he did the same thing my ex-boyfriend did to me?
