Winter has just come to an end and spring is on its way.

While I was busy working at the café, a tall customer approached the cashier.

"Good afternoon. What can I..." I couldn't finish my sentence as I caught sight of the customer's face.

He had eyes like a fox, a tall nose, a small face, and dark eyebrows. It was a striking appearance that couldn't be ignored.

However, as someone who had no time for love and was focused on paying bills before the end of the month, I didn't have any expectations when it came to meeting this handsome man.

Putting on a friendly demeanor, as part of my job, I smiled at him and politely asked, "May I take your order, Sir?"

"Yes," he replied in a deep, resonant voice.

I couldn't help but wonder where he got that voice from. It was like he had a built-in bass machine or something.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, his voice was incredibly captivating.

The man reached into his wallet and placed a card on the table. Sliding it towards me, he said, "You are my order, Miss (Y/N)."

My heart skipped a beat as I glanced at the contact card before me. It wasn't because I was flattered by his words. My heart raced because this guy somehow knew my full name, even though I was only wearing a name badge with my nickname.

Slowly, I raised my gaze and noticed the intensity in his eyes.

"I came here to inform you about your twin sister. I'll be waiting outside the café." After he whispered his message, the guy spun around and exited the café. It was only then that I could finally catch my breath.

Who the heck is he?

How does he know my name?

"And what on earth is he going on about? Twin sister?" I pondered to myself.

Carefully, I grabbed the card from the table and examined his name. "Secretary Jeon Wonwoo."

As I tightly gripped the card in my hand, my gaze followed the path he took when he left.

The clock struck 6pm, and I hesitated to leave the café. That guy had promised to wait for me outside, but I couldn't help but be curious about what he had said.

Growing up in an orphanage without any memories of my parents, I had always considered the other kids there as my family. I had convinced myself that I didn't have any real family left, otherwise, they would have shown up by now.

"But now, this man claims I have a twin?" I questioned myself as I stepped out of the café.

Taking a deep breath, I pondered the situation. Suddenly, I noticed a figure from the corner of my eye.

"Five hours, thirty minutes, and 2 seconds," a voice spoke.

I squinted at the man emerging from the darkness. As the light hit his handsome face, I realized it was Secretary Jeon Wonwoo.

"I waited outside for so long. How about we hop in the car and chat there?" he offered as he pointed to the sleek black Mercedes parked nearby.

I rolled my eyes and replied, "Sorry, but I have major trust issues. So, I don't think I can just follow your suggestion. If you have something to say, why not say it now?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Do you really think I came here to kidnap you?" he asked.

"I heard that from someone who knows my name even if I haven't seen you before in my entire life. Of course, it's only natural for me to have thoughts like that," I explained.

He lowered his head, adjusted his glasses, and started walking towards me.

Instinctively, I took a step back. I quickly glanced at the CCTV outside the café and the people in the distance. When I looked back, the man was already standing uncomfortably close.

"Well, you're not entirely wrong," he whispered softly.

Confusion clouded my expression as I pondered his words. Was he actually confessing to planning my abduction?

In a panic, I reached for my phone, ready to dial the police. But then...

"I came here because your twin sister passed away." His next sentence stopped me in my tracks.

His words hung in the air, causing me to freeze as I locked eyes with him.

"Heeyoung, your twin sister, was found dead," he continued, pulling something out of his pocket.

In an instant, he revealed a photograph of a well-dressed woman. She looked elegant in her fancy dress, carrying a stylish bag, and her hair neatly tied up. As I gazed at her face, my eyes widened in shock.

'This woman has the same face as mine. Which means, she's really my twin sister.'

I almost dropped my phone as I stared at the picture. However, it was easy to edit pictures nowadays so I replied, "Is this picture even true? I mean, it is so easy to edit pictures with Ai application nowadays."

"I knew you would doubt it, so I have something else to show you," he said, scrolling through his phone to find some news about my sister, Heeyoung.

He typed her name and a news article appeared at the top. I couldn't help but read it out loud.

"The wife of CEO Yoon Jeonghan has been missing for three months."

Along the article was a picture of a woman who resembles my face.

Damn.

Now, I couldn't deny it anymore. I really have a twin sister and she had died!

"Are you starting to believe it now, Miss (Y/n)?" Wonwoo asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.

Feeling a mix of confusion and disbelief, I turned to face him. "What do you want from me?" I questioned, trying to make sense of it all.

Secretary Wonwoo calmly put his phone away and met my gaze. He then spoke. "Come with me and pretend to be your sister. From now on, you will be Mr. Yoon Jeonghan's wife."
