Nightmare

Hello guys!! I've had a surge of motivation and ideas! I'm gonna upload around once a week but shoot for twice a week or more until I run out of ideas :) It would be really helpful too if you could comment any requests you have! - Harry has a nightmare in a surprisingly empty Hogwarts -

This one is a little sad at first, it's like hurt/comfort lol

Minor tw- dying (ppl die in the nightmare) and hyperventilation 

"NO!!" Harry screamed at the top of his lungs as death eaters accompanied by Voldemort descended upon the castle. Green light blasted upon the scene, landing hit upon hit. The thudding of bodies hitting the ground overwhelmed Harry's ears. Harry tried to move forward, do anything to stop it, but he couldn't break free of some invisible force. Death eaters cackled and fled the scene leaving the grounds deathly silent. Harry slowly walked around the halls, filled with lifeless bodies. He saw many familiar faces staring blankly at the ceiling from the floor. There was nobody left. A voice began to ring in his ears, 'your fault, your fault, your fault'

Harry shot straight up on his bed and smacked his head on the  top of his bedpost. Tears were streaming down his face and he was full-on sobbing. He hit his head pretty hard and now he was seeing stars too. He looked around the empty dorm with clouded vision.

It was Christmas time, and this year was the record for most students returning home for the holidays. There were hardly any left. Harry was the only Gryffindor boy who had stayed back that year. Harry stood up, beginning to hyperventilate. He needed to find someone. Anyone. And now. He ran, still in his pajamas, stumbling down the stairs of the dorm and out of the common room. He couldn't go into the girls dorm. 

{uhh this part might not make sense because I don't know the distance between the common rooms or how Harry would even get in but pls go with it LMAO} 

The hallway was eerily quiet, just like in his dream. His heart beat faster and he gasped desperately for air. He ran towards the Slytherin dorms, as they were closest. Once inside, he bolted to the boys dorms just looking for some form of life. What if the dream was true? What if he was all alone? He needed conformation that it was just a dream right now. He scanned the dorm and locked eyes on the single body in the room. Malfoy. Now wasn't the time to think about the fat crush he had on him, he needed help. He walked over to the sleeping boy and gently tapped his shoulder. He felt a pang in his chest. what if he's...dead? This couldn't happen. Harry shook him with more of a sense of urgency. The startled blonde jumped a bit and turn his body to face the boy. His face went from fear and confusion, to anger, to worry when he saw the state of the boy in front of him. 

"Oh my god Potter, what happened? Are you hurt? Are you in danger?" Harry shook his head no. He was still a sobbing mess and was breathing far too fast to get any air. He opened his mouth to speak but simply sobbed and gasped for breath. 

"Hey hey hey" Draco said worriedly, standing and putting his hand on Harry's shoulder. Harry pressed his head into Draco's chest, still barely breathing. Draco was a bit taken a back by the action and froze, hesitating before wrapping his arms tightly around the boy and soothingly rubbing his back. 

"Shhh, it's okay. You're okay. I'm here" Draco assured gently to the boy shaking like a leaf in his arms. He slowly guided them to his bed so they could sit, continuing to rub Harry's back and whisper affirmations in his ear. Harry slowly began to breathe normally, only sucking in an extra breath involuntarily every few seconds. He looked up at the blonde finally and wiped his eyes, though the tears hadn't stopped.
