The days started to fly by. The boys would act all couple-y in front of Hermione, and were slowly growing to act like a couple when nobody was around. Holding hands, leaning on each other, fixing each other's hair, hugs, it just felt normal now. Of course, still no kissing.

Draco's best friend Blaise was the only one who knew about his secret crush on Potter. He was rooting for Draco the whole way, hoping this was the start of something. Draco knew better, that Harry didn't have feelings for him so he didn't get his hopes up. After all, Harry fake asked him out and implemented the no kissing rule.

Hermione was not having any of this. As much as she tried to just be happy for Harry, something about the relationship wasn't adding up for her. Ron didn't notice any of this, but of course he was a bit of a brick head.

"It just doesn't make sense," She said to Ron for the millionth time. "It doesn't seem real! I've never even seen them kiss." She huffed. Ron snickered.

"How come you're so into Harry and Draco kissing?" He joked, earning a slap on the shoulder from Hermione. "We don't kiss in front of people that often." He commented. {idk what year this is but Hermione and Ron r dating} Hermione stopped walking to kiss Ron on the lips.

"Happy?" She asked, trying to remain stern but a smile peaking through. Ron slung his arm around her shoulder as they continued to walk.

"Not my ulterior motive to that statement, but yes happy with the results." He said with a laugh.

"Harry's a little different though, he's got to be far more touchy than us right? Remember when the three of us were doing muggle stuff so we took a love language quiz? Both of ours were quality time, but Harry's was touch." She continued.

"Alright, Miss Sherlock Holmes. If you say so." Ron said with a sigh. Hermione rolled her eyes but didn't drag the conversation on.

It was the end of the week, and Harry and Draco had agreed to meet in an empty classroom again at lunch. Harry assumed they both knew why, but Draco had forgotten. When the blonde entered the classroom he spotted the other and walked over.

"Hello, my love." He half joked, being shoved lightly in response. Harry dug in his pocket before producing four shining galleons.

"Here you are, thanks a lot for this week. Good job. We can fake break-up next week or so." He stated, feeling a bit sad internally but smiling nonetheless. Draco blinked at the money in front of him. He had been having so much fun spending time with the boy that he had completely forgotten about the bribe. He shook his head.

"It's all right Harry, keep your money. Turns out you're an all right lad to hang out with anyway." He said with a shrug. Harry protested, trying to get the blonde to take it. Draco however, refused.

"Okay, you win." Harry said with a sigh, shoving the money back into his pocket. "Does the break-up plan still sound good to you though?" Draco's heart dropped a little bit, sad that their little game would soon be over. He nodded. Harry thought for a second before a lightbulb went off in his head.

"Since you're not letting me pay you, can I take you to Hogsmeade next weekend?" He offered. "I can buy you some butterbeer, some candy, and we can discuss the plan." He smiled. "Come on, it'll be fun." Draco pretended to think it over when obviously he was going to say yes.

"Sure." He responded, a smile making its way onto his face as well. Harry stood and began to leave. He turned back to say, "See you there, sweetheart." He winked and walked away.

As Draco sat in his own thoughts during third period, it occurred to him that they never used pet names in front of other people. Not even Hermione. It was just a little joke they shared, but surely it had to be a joke.

Right?
