Hi guys!! Sorry I didn't upload yesterday, I was busy pretty much all day

Harry stood in front of the dorm mirror, fixing his hair yet again. He had on a sweater under his black blazer and his red and gold scarf hung around his shoulders. Ron walked in, noticing that Harry was dressed differently than his normal sweater or robes.

"Going somewhere?" He questioned, rooting through his trunk.

"I'm going to Hogsmeade with Draco." Harry responded, eyes still fixated on his reflection. Ron plopped himself down on his bed, looking back at Harry.

"First date?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Harry then realized that he hadn't even staged any fake dates with Draco yet. Did this count as a real date? He secretly hoped that it did.

"Er, yeah." He responded, ears going slightly red. Ron stood and ruffled Harry's hair.

"Knock em' dead, big man" He said, giving the boy a parting pat on the back. Harry scowled at the ginger.

"Ron! My hair!" He pouted.

"It looks better messy anyway, chill out. You're just fixing it because you're stressed." Ron commented. Harry stopped messing with his head of black hair. Ron was kind of right, as usual, well actually, not as usual. He sighed and turned to leave, giving a brief goodbye to Ron.

"Have fun, but not too much fun!" The redhead called after him.

Draco paced back and forth in front of the school where Harry said they'd meet. Harry was only a few minutes late, but the blonde still worried that he wouldn't show. At last, he heard footsteps barreling towards him, and turned to find Harry running down the corridor, grin plastered on his face. Draco's cheeks went red when he saw the other boy, dressed for the cold but still a nice outfit, and his hair flapping behind him. Suddenly, Draco felt underdressed. He hardly saw Harry in clothes other than his school robes, and it was a nice change. He thought Harry looked cute. He snapped out of his thoughts once the other boy came to his side, panting.

"Hey." The shorter boy greeted, trying to catch his breath. "Sorry I'm late."

"No worries." Draco responded with a smile. Harry held out his arm, offering it to the blonde.

"Shall we?" He asked. Draco hesitated briefly before Harry added, "Hermione could be lurking around any corner you know." Draco giggled and hooked his arm in Harry's. There was an unspoken knowing that it had nothing to do with Hermione, not that either of them would admit it. They continued forward together, arm in arm.

First they visited the three broomsticks, ordering two warm butterbeers to warm up from the walk there. They sat down at a table together, content with their warm drinks. Harry took a sip and began,

"So, Hermione thinks we've been dating for four weeks. I say we pretend break up the Wednesday after next so it will have been a little over a month." It hurt him to say, but he couldn't keep Draco around forever. It was all just pretend. Draco gave a pained smile and agreed.

"You know what? We can figure out the rest another time. Why don't we just enjoy the afternoon?" Harry said cheerily, wanting to change the subject. This lifted Draco's spirits a bit, he didn't really want to think too much about his whole 'relationship' with Harry was a farce.

The two boys simply passed the time talking. Draco couldn't help but smile at how adorable Harry was when he talked about subjects he was interested in. They finished their drinks and walked hand in hand to Honeydukes. It wasn't real though. The hand holding. It was definitely for Hermione, no other reason...

Harry rooted through the candies that adorned the shelves. He wanted to pick something for Draco. He thought the boy seemed more like the chocolate type so he decided on chocolate frogs and exploding bon-bons. He of course grabbed some pumpkin pasties for himself and some bertie-botts every flavor beans for Ron and Hermione too.

As they headed back to the castle they were no longer holding hands, only because they had so many boxes of candy cradled in their arms. They were nearing the entrance to the castle where they would part ways. To be honest, Harry would have hugged Draco goodbye if not for the sweets he was barely grasping onto.

"I had fun." Harry said, beaming. "I'll see you around, babe." He said, putting a sarcastic drawl on the last word. Draco snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Bye, honey." He said with a goofy smile, turning and heading for his dorm. He couldn't wait to tell Blaise about what happened.

Draco and Blaise were sat on the floor of the dorm, sharing Draco's chocolates, the blonde spilling all the details about the day. Blaise cocked an eyebrow.

"Draco... the guy might be into you. Like for real." He suggested, biting the head off a chocolate frog. Draco blushed.

"He's the one who came up with the whole fake plan remember? He's just pretending."

"Just pretending to call you babe and sweetheart for no reason? You said there was nobody around! And he bought you all of these chocolates." He was right, but Draco didn't want to admit it. "Look dude, just ask him what his deal is. You don't have to confess right away, just try to find out where he stands. You'll feel better after, I swear." Zabini continued. Draco pursed his lips, thinking it over.  He nodded slowly.

"You're right, Blaise. I'm gonna do it." He broke into a smile. "Thanks again, man." The other boy grinned triumphantly.

"Ah Draco, who is there but me to sort out your love quarrels." Draco threw a pillow at his face.

Sorry I didn't really go into depth about the Hogsmeade part, but I'm gonna do a oneshot where they are actually dating and go to Hogsmeade in the future :)
