- Harry takes Draco into the forest -

word count: 820

"Potter, let go of me!" Draco hissed through his teeth as Harry pulled him along.

"Oh, relax. You're fine." Harry insisted. He was pulling Draco by the arm into the forbidden forest. The sun would be setting soon, and Harry was hoping to catch the sunset. He found a nice grove there one time, and had always wanted to take somebody there. Unfortunately, Draco, his boyfriend of about a year, was reluctant.

"You said we were going to sit by the lake! How did I believe that bloody crap?" Draco whined, trying to walk back out of the woods. Harry groaned.

"Would you shut up? I'm trying to do something romantic here, idiot." He scolded. Draco snorted.

"Kidnapping. How romantic." He said sarcastically.

"I'll protect you from the big bad guys out to get you." Harry declared in a mocking tone. Draco kicked the back of his shin and Harry laughed. He paused for a second and turned, causing Draco to bump into him. "Seriously though, it's fine. Why would I purposely put you in danger?" He reasoned.

"Because... you're a twat." Draco replied, cracking a smile. Harry shoved him, biting back a smile himself.

"And you're a twit. Now lets go." With that, he pulled Draco deeper into the forest. As they continued along, Harry hoped that he actually remembered where this place was. For obvious reasons, he didn't voice these thoughts. Draco spent the walk muttering things about how his shoes were going to be ruined or how they were going to be bitten by a werewolf. Harry paid no attention to this. After a fairly peaceful walk, the two boys both heard a rustling sound from nearby. They froze in their tracks. It sounded like it was coming from some bushed up ahead.

"What is that?" Draco whispered, sounding panicked.

"Chill out, it's probably some animal." Harry whispered back, taking another timid step forwards. They walked quietly for a bit before they heard the slight sound of voices from the rusting.

"Explain that one, Potter." Draco said in a cocky tone, yet still a bit scared.

"Why don't we just go look?" Harry suggested. Draco grabbed Harry's arm tightly.

"Are you insane? What if we get killed?!"

"What else do you suggest?" Harry whisper-yelled. Draco sighed.

"Fine, but I am waiting behind that tree. You go look." He bargained, and Harry sighed in annoyance. He pried Draco's hand off where it was clamped on his arm and shooed him away towards said tree. He quietly stepped towards the bushes, trying to peek through them. He caught a glimpse of orange... hair? He took another step forwards but got caught on a plant and tripped, falling to the ground. As he fell he could hear Draco audibly gasp, but once he thudded to the ground, a high pitched, ear splitting shriek shot through the air. Harry looked up. He recognized that shriek.

"Ron?" He called sitting himself up.

"W-who goes there?" Ron yelled back, voice trembling.

"It's Harry, you dimwit!" Hermione told him, stepping out from behind the bushes. Harry, who was still on the ground, began to laugh manically. He saw Hermione burst into laughter too. Ron timidly peeked out from the bushes, visibly relaxing when he saw Harry. He started to laugh as well.

"What on earth is going on?" Draco shouted over from the tree, making his way over to the three laughing hysterically.

"Good question." Harry said through laughter. He caught his breath and looked up at his two friends. "What are you guys doing here?" Both of their faces turned a bit red.

"We're... waiting to see the stars. For astrology." Hermione explained.

"Definitely star gazing. Not making out." Ron said firmly, and Hermione elbowed him in the ribs. Harry and Draco both bit back their laughter.

"Whatever you say, Hermione - hates astrology - Granger." Harry teased.

"I could ask you two the same thing." She countered.

"We, are going to see a nice grove I found to catch the sunset. Nothing to hide." He told her smugly, standing and brushing himself off.

"Well... you two have fun." She said, giving up the argument.

"Why thank you Hermione, we will." He said sarcastically, holding his arm out for Draco to hook his in. Draco rolled his eyes but did it anyways. They left Ron and Hermione alone to do their... astrology... and continued towards the grove. "See, I told you I'd protect you." Harry joked.

"Shut up."
