*Noah's POV

I was intensely focused on my writing when my brother Grant barged into my room plopping on my bed.

"Fuck! Dude ever heard of knocking?" I said my heart racing.

"Um yeah. I did knock and you didn't answer."

"So that means don't come in. What do you want anyway? Aren't you suppose to be in class?"

"Mom told me to come tell you that we are not going to make it to your game tonight and also my professor never showed up I only have one class today."

"What's new." I mumbled. "That's fine. Now get out of my room."

Grant rolled off my bed and walked out of my room. I changed into my soccer clothes and grabbed my bag with my soccer stuff in it and headed downstairs to grab a snack.

"I'm sorry I can't make it to your game tonight honey." My mom said sighing. My mom had a slight accent because we were originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but we moved to Florida because she said we needed a "change of scenery" and it would do us some good.

"Mom honestly its fine. I just play for pure enjoyment now. You don't have to come to my games." I chuckle while grabbing an apple.

"I know, but I want to support you in all your things you do. Is that all you're gonna eat?"

"Mom seriously its fine and yes I'm not that hungry had a late lunch. " I say kissing her forehead and heading out the door.

"Be careful!" She yelled.

I pulled into the soccer club excited to finally let some steam off on the field. Work honestly always stressed me out. Sure all I was doing was holding the camera, but the company I was with always made things harder than they had to be. I hop out of my grey Ford Raptor and head to the men's locker room.

"Yooooo Noah What's up dude! Still a little frustrated?" Tony, my best friend, laughed. Tony was the first person I met when we moved to Florida. He always invited me to his parties and then he just always was around at my house because his parents were never home and my mom cooked.

"Ha! Nah your girl helped me out with that last night." I smirked putting away my stuff in my locker.

"Ha ha. Very funny." Tony said rolling his eyes. Tony doesn't have a girl he has multiple that he just hooks up with. For as long as I have known him he was always like that. I was in a relationship in high school, but we broke up because she moved away to college. Since then no one has really caught my eye. We headed out of the locker room and onto the field. There were two fields across from each other. I could already see the women's team out there getting ready for their game as well.

PJs POV

"Here comes the men's team!" Shalaya said all excited. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

"You do this every week, but when are you actually going to talk to one of them." I said.

"Oh, girl you know I can't do that I have to many hoes and I am not looking to add more. I just like to admire from a far." She said while putting her hand on her chest. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Shalaya was never the commitment type, but she did like the attention from guys and entertained a few.

We are about 20 min in to the second half and I finally get a sub so I can get out of the game. I run over and put my hands on my knees to catch my breath. The other team was playing a good game, but we were playing harder. I finally grab my water and gulp it down. "Come on Daniels!!" I yell. I take another sip of my water before I put it down. I flip over my hair to fix my ponytail and as I am bent over the men's soccer ball rolls behind me. I come back up not realizing their ball was behind me while finishing off my ponytail.

"Hey number 7!" One of the guys yells. I turn around and see their ball.

"Kick it back will ya!" They weren't far, but I ended up kicking it back far into the middle of the field where most of the players were at.

"Thanks!" he yelled. I turned back around and as I did that; we had scored another goal. So, I ran over to jump up and down with my teammates to celebrate.

Noah's POV

I was just about to kick the ball out of the other players feet when he kicked the ball all the way out of bounds and over to the women's side behind one of the players. She had not seemed to notice the ball behind her, so I yelled her jersey number to get her attention. I had never really taken a notice to the women's team, but as soon as number 7 turned around it's like the world slowed down. The way her ponytail flipped as she turned around. She has this innocence aura surrounding her very being. She was stunning even with the sweat glistening off her. She kicked the ball back to us and turned back around to cheer for her team. I was distracted by her and completely forgot about the soccer game going on.

"Yo! Noah you good?" Tony tapped me on the shoulder getting my attention. I shook my head and fixed my head band to get my hair out of my face.

"Yeah bro. Who's number 7 on the women's team?" I asked. Curious to know more about the woman I seemingly have never noticed before until now.

"Uumm... I think they call her PJ." Tony said breathlessly.

"hm."

"Come on let's get back."

"Yeah." I say still distracted. The rest of the game all I could think about was this woman... PJ. She consumed my thoughts. What was she like? Did she have a boy friend? What things did she like? I wanted to get to know her. I needed to get to know this her.
