Chapter Twenty Five

I laugh and shove Erana as she pushes me down on the chair.

She then falls onto the chair beside me laughing.

"Look," She says and points up. I look up to the sky and then back down to her smiling in amazement.

The alcohol coursing through my body making me forget that Erana has totally friend zoned me..

I lean over the chair and fall onto her chest grabbing onto her and she wraps her arm around me.

"You have to look it's so beautiful," She says as my face is buried in her neck.

I mistakenly kiss her neck before looking up at the sky; my eyes falling onto her face not long after looking up.

"The stars are pretty but you're way prettier," I say and hold her face in my hands as she smiles blushing noticeably.

"Ha ha ha so original now watch the stars not me," She giggles and I refuse to take my eyes off of her and when I did it was because I cuddled back into her neck, this time kissing it.

She remained silent, her hand touching my shoulder and her breathing becoming unsteady.

"Any room for one more?" Sarah asks poking at my sides and it makes me jump up back into my own chair.

"Even if there wasn't, we'd make room for you Sarah," Erana says and I look over to her and smile.

"Come here sexy lady," I insist and pat my lap.

"Don't have to tell me twice," She says falling onto my lap.

"Erana, come here," I say and she laughs getting up and sitting beside me the chair too small for all three of us but somehow we did it.

"No way? Cuddle sesh? Where was the invite!?" Sophia says as she jumps onto all of us causing us all to drunkenly groan.

I look over to Erana beside me as she was laughing and it's almost as if the world stopped and all I saw was her. It's been awhile since i've seen her so happy.. It makes me feel so good.

"Here I come!" Helena says and jumps onto us causing Sophia and her to fall off.

"Mia can I steal you?" Brody interrupts reaching his hand out.. To be honest.. I totally forgot he was here or really even existed..

"Why of course," I say and grab his hand.

He pulls me up causing Sarah and Erana to fall beside each other.

"Booooo" Erana says and I look back at her and smile looking her up and down. "Oh don't you worry I save the best for last," I say and feel my hand being pulled inside as I wink.

"Looks like I'm last," Helena says throwing her hands up and it causes me to laugh.

I love these girls so much.. I don't want to leave. What if our show is a total flop and doesn't get renewed? Then what? I'd be crushed.

I walk back inside and see Jenna, Shannon, and Reign dancing to some music looking like they're having the time of their lives.

"Where are we going?" I ask as he pulls me to the bathroom.

He closes the door behind us and grabs onto my face kissing my lips.

"Woah... where did that come from?" I ask once he parts from me.

"I've been wanting to do that.. For so long," He tells me and I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Well you," I poke his chest with my index finger, "My friend you're..." I trail off forgetting what I was saying.

Maybe I'm more drunk than I like to admit but hey, it's our last party night together.

"I'm what?" He asks and I shrug. "I think I forgot," I stutter and he smiles down at me.

He leans back in and kisses me again. My hands remaining at my sides.

I'm not even sure I was moving my lips.. It felt so meaningless.

"Can we go back now?" I ask basically begging..

"Why such a rush? I won't get to see you for a bit," He reminds me and I nod.

"Well neither will they.." I tell him and watch as he reaches behind me and turns the doorknob.

"I'll just head out then," He says once we're both out of the bathroom.

"You're leaving? Already?" I ask and he nods. "Yeah I don't wanna pull you away from girl time, have fun for me," He insists.

We walk back outside and he says goodbye to everyone.

"Wait Brody.." I say and grab onto his arm standing on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek.

"Thanks for coming I'll text you," I mumble and he smiles before heading out.

"Ooooo girl you're finally moving on!" Sophia says clapping her hands laughing with Sarah.

I grab a pillow that was on the chair beside me and throw it at her.

I claim the seat for my own and fall onto it.

"So what'd you guys go do?" Sarah asks playing with the end of the blanket looking over to me curiously.

"Oh he just pulled me away to talk," I lie and look to Erana who was laying on her stomach.

She had her elbow on the ground and she laid her chin in her palms. I'm not sure how she ended up on the ground but she had a blanket underneath her and honestly looked super cozy.

"So what are you guys gonna do when you head back?" Erana asks us all completely changing the subject.

Everyone puts in some input and eventually I speak up.

"Maybe we should go on a vacation," I suggest and Sophia and Sarah laugh but Erana looked to me with curious eyes.

"No like really.. I think that'd be so much fun!" I say and lay my head back looking up at the stars.

"You thinking Bora Bora?" Erana mentions and I quickly sit up and raise my eyebrows.

"Yes!" I say excitedly.

"I don't know about you Sarah but I am keeping my happy ass at home," Sophia says and I continue to look at Erana.

"I'm in," She says and my eyes widen.

I jump up and run over to her laying beside her to talk details.

I lay flat on my back and demand the pillow I just threw at Sophia back placing it beneath my head.

Erana and I talk all the dreamy details and I don't know the exact amount of time we were talking but it was enough for both girls to head back inside and leave us all alone.

"I love you Erana," I say as I look up to the sky, looking over to her after I say it.

She smiles and looks into my eyes. "I love you too Mia," She replies and I lean over tucking her hair behind her ear.

She looks to me shyly and smiles.

"I miss you," I whisper and her smile fades from happy to regret. "I miss you too," She says even quieter than I had.

"You don't have to miss me.. I'm always here.." I remind her and watch as her eyes examine my face.

"I don't deserve that Mia but I'm so glad to have someone like you in my life," She tells me and my hand finds the back of her neck. I pull her close but swerve over to her ear.

I get ready to whisper something before the sliding glass door opens causing us both to jump away from each other.

"Karaoke time!" Shannon shouts and Erana looks over to me creasing her eyebrows probably curious as to what I had to say.

Honestly.. I'm glad I didn't say it. I want to play the 'I don't want you anymore' act for a bit longer than this.

I can't give in the second she starts to miss me.. That's just not how it works.
