Chapter Twenty Eight

"I'd like to make a toast to all of our wonderful cast members for making an amazing show," A producer says as we sit along the huge table eating dinner.

Everyone raises their glasses and smiles widely clinking each other's glasses together as she spoke more about the accomplishments we've all made this year.

I look over to Erana and I cheers with her smiling widely.

We all sip our wine and then continue our conversations around the table.

I feel a hand slip onto my leg and I immediately assume it's Erana but I turn to see Sarah.

I totally forgot she was sitting to the left of me and Erana was to the right.

"I think Brody wants to hook up with you," She says quietly, her hand remaining on my thigh even though she had gotten my attention already.

"What? How do you know?" I say and furrow my eyebrows at her looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to our conversation.

"May have heard from a little birdy," She smiles and I shake my head and look forward.

Her hand leaves my leg a few seconds last and... I immediately missed her touch..

"You gonna eat that?" Erana says pulling me out of my thoughts as I played around with the food on my plate.

"What?" I mumble and look over to her as she leaned over and poked at my food bringing it to her mouth.

"Oh sure go ahead," I say and she laughs.

The dinner was nice, it felt almost bittersweet being with everyone like this. I really hope and pray that this show is renewed so we can do it all over again.

We all head back to the condos and I notice Brody standing outside of Erana and I's door with flowers and a note.

I smile to him, it was such a sweet gesture that no ones ever done for me.

"Brody?" I begin, my tone clearly showcasing how shocked I was.

Erana glances over at me with a small smile before unlocking the door and closing it behind her.

"What are you doing here?" I add and he opens up his arms pulling me into a hug.

"Telling you congrats.. On wrapping, I realized yesterday I should've done this but better late than never, right?" He asks nervously and I smile taking the flowers and card from him.

"Here come in," I offer opening up the door that was unlocked.

Erana must have gone to her room because she wasn't in the living room or kitchen.

"So how was dinner?" He asks and I exhale taking off my purse setting it on the table beside the door.

"It was great, I am so full," I say and he laughs nervously.

We continue to make small talk before we found ourselves lounging on the couch watching some reality show together.

His feet were being propped up by the coffee table and my head was on his shoulder as he touched my thigh.

"Do you care if I go change? I'll be fast.." I ask and he moves his feet.

"Of course," He smiles and unwraps his arm from me.

I stand up and head to my room, my outfit was too uncomfortable to be cuddling in.

Although cuddling with a girl is much different than a boy, it's not all that bad. Do I prefer women well.. Erana..? Of course, but still.
