Mother And Daughter Reunion

"Logan and Nina you're going to stay close enough behind. I'll go in by myself. Try talk to them that should you buy you sometime to sneak in and grab River. "

"Talk? I don't think they're in a talking mood tonight. We should just walk in there and kill them before they have a chance to do it us." Logan suggested.

"Wow! Here I thought you were the smart one. We are dealing with witches. Powerful ones in fact." Nina said with dark brown eyes, dark hair and dark tan skin.

"No! They're innocent. Just following orders of a person that stepped in to care for them after my mother. Clara saved their lives and helped them survive. They won't betray her."

"You're Accalia's daughter. Rightful heir. " Senna said.

Zafrina stood by Senna and slightly nodded.

"Will listen to a person who you hardly know and has done nothing for you. I wouldn't. Clara is the person they know and trust." Katherine said.

"Then what? The lunar eclipseis still coming? What we going to do with River. "

"We'll deal with it when we get there. Our main focus is to get River out of there." Katherine said,"since Senna, Zafrina can't cross to the other side. They need to stay here and wait for orders. Gear up. We'll leaving in a few."

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Logan asked uneasy ever since River dropped the phone on him

"It has too." Katherine simply answered.

"What if things don't go out as we planned. I can't lose her again." Logan said frustrated with himself.

"You're her friend, right?"

"I like to think so."

"But you're also a hunter."

"Yes."

"Tell me Logan. Are prepared to kill my daughter, if she took another life after tonight."

Logan opened and closed his mouth hesitantly. She left him speechless. He didn't know how to answer that question.

If he killed her and it was game over. All the promise he's made to save and protect and all the effort he has put himself through would be for nothing. He would have lost her again but if he let her live after she killed an innocent than he'll be going against his morals, everything he believed in.

Katherine doesn't wait for answers and leaves.

Logan stood there deep in thoughts,"I guess I'll deal with it when I get there. I just have to make sure she doesn't take a life tonight." He thought before he got ready so something doesn't happen.

River gritted her teeth at Clara as she stoked a needle,"what are you doing?" River asked in drowsy voice.

"There is only one plant that can put a dog down. And that's what I'm doing here. Pumping through her veins.

"Wolf's bane." River said.

Clara smiled,"very clever. Now sleep. Sweet dreams." Clara said before River  passed.

When she finally came to, she was outside. In a middle of a clearing, surrounded by trees. She felt lightheaded, her sight blurry and unfocused.

The Amazon women gathered around her in circle. They held hands and chanted strange, unfamiliar words.
