Hunt Or Be Hunted Part II

"Leaving so soon." Man with pale skin and red hair said with a devilish grin.

"Yeah, I need to take my girlfriend home, before her curfew. I don't want her folks on my back about it." Logan sheepishly lied,"isn't that right, love?" He said in a British accent as he wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her closer to him.

"Yeah." River said.

"Oh come on. I'm sure you can stay for a while." The pale man said getting close to River's face,"and I'm sure your girl will like too. Isn't that right, gorgeous?" He said close to River's ear.

His cold breathe sent shivers down her spin and not in a good way. River saw the lustful, murderous look in his eyes and it's scared her.

Logan frowned in disgust as he moved River behind him,"I will ask you to step away from my girlfriend, you're scaring her."

The vampire male with a smugged look said,"and if I don't?"

"It will be the last thing you'll ever do." Logan threatened him.

The vampire laughed out loud,"and what are you going to do, huh?" He stepped closer to Logan," let me tell what you're going to do..... Nothing cause you can't do nothing, cause you're just a... human." He said cocky.

Logan kicked his knee causing a small crack, grabbed his cold, hard neck violently before he pushed him, hitting his head against the wall,"don't you dare undermine me." Logan said through his teeth.

"I'm going to kill you." He groaned.

"Want to bate on that." Logan frowned in disgust before kneed him on the stomach, he twisted his neck.

The vampire groaned, confused and frustrated,"you're stronger than a normal human. What are you?"

"Something you don't need to concern yourself about since you're going to die anyway." Logan twisted his head all the away until it ripped away from the rest of his body. He watched as the rest of the body fell lifeless to the ground,"what was he's mistake?" Logan asked.

"He underestimated you without knowing correct, proper knowledge of what you are and what you can. He challenged you based on assuming something that wasn't true." River said deep in thoughts, trying to distract herself from the scene in front of her. As she watched the lifeless man laying on the ground headless, she saw a similar images of what happened a week before. A whole coven on the ground lifeless and in pieces.

Logan surprised,"Yes. Vampire tend to use brut strength and speed to out match they opponent. So you have to use your mind and out smart them." Logan said.

River rolled her eyes,"yeah, I know. You tell me that all the time." She wrapped her arms across her chest but she was secretly impressed at how he handle a blood thirsty vampire.

Logan looked at her with a smirk,"you can shower me with praises later." He said sarcastically," First we need to get out of here before his buddies find out what happened here." He placed his hand on River's waist led her away from the scene.

"Too late." A man grunted out as he stood in the way.

"Logan!" River cried out when Logan was pushed against the wall. She rushed towards him.

Logan groaned at the pain on his back,"No, River. Run." Logan ordered.

River looked around,"if you haven't noticed. We're surrounded." River said through her teeth,"and I'm not leaving you."

"Boys, what do you say, we have some fun?" The vampire that held Logan said as he wrapped his cold, hard fingers around Logan's neck and squeezed tighter.
