After they were done with the campsite and the field Edward and River went to the cullen residence.

"I'm going to check something upstairs, I'll be right back."

River nodded,"take your time." She said before went to the living room before Edward disappeared.

She went straight to the grand piano in the corner and set in the chair. She begin pressing random keys. She smiled when she remembered how Edward would play to her to cheer her up or put her to sleep with his beautiful and soft music.

She stopped once she remembered how the music he use to play were for her ears only where now for Bella's.

"Why did you stop?" Edward asked leaning on the doorway.

River doesn't turn to him and bite her lip,"I just remembered something. "

Edward walked and set next to her,"do you remember the song I wrote for you."

"River flows in you." River answered looking into his eyes.

Edward smiled before he ran his fingers on the keyboard. Playing her song.

River's eyes never leaving Edward as he played his song he wrote for her. For a while it felt like nothing changed. They were still together, in love, no complications, no Bella.

Edward turned to her with a smile,"your turn."

River smiled widely before she also ran her fingers on the keyboard along Edward, brushing each others fingers once in a while.

River cringed and laughed at herself when she missed a note. Edward laughed along with her secretly loving the sound of her laughter. He unconsciously moved his arm around River's waist and played the tone beyond her. They both didn't think much as they enjoyed each others closeness. Now they were fighting on who can play the most keys. They both laughed at how terrible the song came after.

Almost like how they were. Perfect beginning and a terrible ending. Happy and love at first, now distance and a mess.

"I missed this." River said giggling.

"Yeah." Edward said before he pulled away slowly,"me too." He whispered before catching her eyes.

Something about his eyes confused River, it's almost felt longing. She frown as if she realised some. River got up and moved to the door.

"River, don't leave. You still haven't had lunch yet. I can make your favourite chicken and mayo, right. You use like watching.."

"I'm not hungry Edward." She interrupted him off.

Edward sighed taking as if River didn't want to stay with him not because she wasn't hungry.

"Don't take this the wrong way. I just don't want to be here when Bella or anyone arrives." River said.

"You're not staying here tonight." Edward asked frowning.

"With you, me and Bella. I might die from the awkwardness."

"Its gonna be awkward if you still have feelings for me." Edward said trying to hide a smirk when River stopped.
