"Tell me what kind of girl are you?"

River smirked,"I'm not your restaurant kind of girl. I'm a picnic kind of girl. In a middle of meadow where the sun shines brightest, surrounded by trees and beautiful different colourful flowers. A small stream nearby where you hear a calming flow of water. White water lilies which are favourite, flowing on top." River smiled widely as she described a meadow she and Edward found years ago. She then remembered the day he confessed his feelings for her in that very same reason and all the times they've shared and made on that very spot.

"Sounds like you've been there. There was someone else wasn't it?" Logan asked.

River's smile faded as she remembered Edward and the pain he has caused her,"you can say that." She bend her head down and closed her eyes,"but I got to stop living in the past, right?"

"Yeah I guess."

"Fine. Tomorrow lunch." River said before she walked off.

"Thank you." He yelled excitedly.

"Whatever." River shouted as she walked away with a blush and a small smile.

River shock her head at how easily she was pursued into this lunch date. But to be honest, she wanted to know more about him. Not just the whole volturi and how he is involved in the whole supernatural world. She wanted to know about he's past, present and future and everything in between.

She stared at the mirror and noticed a small smile crept into her lips. She felt anxious and nervous all over a sudden She took a few breaths in and out.

She looked at herself in the mirror, adjusting her dress and ironed out the nonexisting wrinkles with her hands. She wore sandals to match with her brown basket bag. A light shade of pink lipgloss and her hair was in its natural waves hung loosely over her shoulder.

Her eyes fell to the tattoo on her shoulder. She hoped Logan will find it cool. She than found herself thinking about Logan and all her interactions with him. He was a cool guy, funny, smart and most importantly handsome. She won over by his dimple grin.

She forced herself away from the mirror before she thought twice about the dress she was wearing and decided to change. She grabbed her small brown bag and hung it over her shoulder and walked out of her family's European house.

It was her first time going out since Edward. All sort of questions came into her mind since Logan first asked her out. But the biggest was; was she ready to move on from the Edward? Was she ready to be in another relationship? Was she ready let someone in to her heart?

But what if he is not what she excepted or the other way around? What if she lets him in and breaks her just like before?

The answer was obviously no. She has grown comfortable in the life she was living in. Less people to worry about. Just her and Charlie and she loved her safe bubble. This were easier that way.
