As River stepped through the transparent wall she's met with another series of trees.

The difference between where she came from and what's in front of her which was green, flourishing forest instead of a white snow covering its surface. She felt warmer than she did 5 minutes ago.

River frowned in confusion before she looked back and forth from where she came to where she was.

"You've finally come, princess." River snapped towards the sound of a woman's voice, startled. When she turned to face the voice she saw a really tan woman in her thirties with a plastered smile on her pale pink lips.

River tilt her inside slightly in confusion,"I'm sorry, I'm lost. If you can just point me to the direction Alaska. I'll be on my way." River said ignore the fact she called her princess,"I probably should have asked this sooner where am I?"

"You are where you are meant to be." The strange woman said to River.

Creeped out,"okay. I'm just gonna..." River said in a rush to get away of her.

"You look just like your mother." The woman said making River stopped in her tracks.

River hesitantly turned towards her,"You know my mother?"

"Yes, how could I not. Katherine Cecilia Cullen daughter of the chief of the Amazon tribe, Accalia. "

"This.." River points to the ground,"this is the Amazon as in the amazon forest."

The woman only chuckle slightly,"no but this is the Amazon tribe territory. "

River's widen as if in realization as she looked back and forth,"What just happened? I could have sworn I was in Alaska, trees and ground covered in snow and the cold weather. Why is it warm here, where is the snow?" River said in freaked out quick tone.

"Calm down, princess. You're safe."

"Why do you keep calling me princess?" River asked nervously with simultaneously questions.

"Cause you are. Do you not recognised me?" Clara asked hopefully.

River quickly remembered from one of her dreams,"it's you. You appeared in my dream. How are you here right now? It was just a dream."

"Yes. I was in one of your dreams."

"How are did you do it?" River asked confused.

"It's just one of my many abilities. I've been looking for you. And patiently waiting for your return."

"What do you mean by that? Return? You say as if I was once here before?" River looked around trying to remember when she was here but everything came out blank

"I'm not surprised. You were just an infant when you were last here. This is where you were born." The tan. brown eye woman explained,"I'm called Clara and your humble servant." She said with a hidden smirk,"and welcome home, princess. Your people have waited for your return."

                                                             •••

"It's beautiful here." River said as she laid her eyes on the flourishing forest.

"Yes, it's witches placed a spell on it to protect it from people who will try to harm this beautiful place." Clara said as she continued to walk in front of River guarding her.

"Witches

"Why did I?"

"Its also your ancestors who created this place when war was ranging."

"I don't understand. Why would my mother take me away from here. It's a beautiful place."

"No one knows except her....but maybe she was ashamed."

"Of what?"

"She was involved with a married man and conceived you. The first days refused to even hold you. It obvious...." Clara tried to hold back.

Rover stopped in her tracks as looked down with an unreadable expression.  "She hated me." River finished for her. The heavy sadness within her heart got heavier.

"Of course not, princess. Do not think that way." Clara urged.

"All this time I've been searching for a woman who doesn't even want anything to do with me. That's why she abandoned me, she didn't want me in the first place." River said her voice with a mocking smile as she looked up into sky trying to hold her tears.

How many tears has lost over people who didn't care about. How many times must she be a fool.

"I'm sure that's not the truth. I'm sure she loved you, she just...." clara trails of.

"Couldn't stand me."

"Princess...."

"It doesn't matter now. Everything is done and gone." River tried to hold brave face,"take me somewhere else." She tried to mask and dismiss her disappointment, anger and sadness.

Clara stood behind and smirked," anything you say princess."

"That's right. My grandmother, you said she was a chief. What was she like?"

"Yes. A lively, beautiful woman much like yourself. She saw good in everyone and everything. She had a good and big heart." Clara said in admiration and adoration, "she was loved by her people." She said with a smile before in disappeared into a sad frown,"Unfortunately she died many years ago."

"She died giving birth to my...to Katherine." River stumbled with her words.

"Yes." Clara simply answered.

"What about my grandfather?"

"Your grandfather was a newborn vampire. Accalia was with him every step of the way and they fell in love. They were both so happy when they found they were going to have child. But after the love of his died...he was never the same. Consumed by grief at the loss of his mate he couldn't bare it and decided to end his own life." Clara explained a little uninterested.

"You knew about Katherine why didn't you took her in?"

"We would have but her older brother insisted that he will care for her. We only ever saw her when she came here carrying you." Clara said before she stared at River.

River stared off into a distance as she took the new information in. While Clara stared at River's back with a wicked smile.
