"Where is she?" Logan asked as stepping into the house aggressively.

"In her room." Esme said,"I'll show you the way." Esme rushed to point it out.

Logan walked in but stopped at the door when he saw River laying on bed, Edward by her side holding her hand.

He walked closer to her bed,"hey." He whispered as he brushed her hair behind her ear. After a while he turned his attention to the person to next to River's bed ,"I knew I couldn't trust you with you." Logan said through clenched teeth and clutched fists,"you always did know how to let her down."

"Don't pretend like you know me." Edward got equally annoyed and angry as he got up from his chair to match Logan.

"I know enough." Logan said.

"Boys if you can kindly take it outside. River doesn't need this right now. " Carlisle tried to break the apart,"Logan, River needs your help not this."

Logan breaths before he nodded,"how bad is it?"

"She lost a lot of blood. Her wound is healing incredibly slower than usual. She's just resting." Carlisle explained

"How bad is the wound?"

"Bad, real bad." Carlisle said seriously worried.

"Have you tried giving her blood?" Logan asked.

They looked at each other,"no. She hasn't since she was baby. We put some in her formula sometimes. But she usually got sick after, so we stopped." Esme said.

"Human or Animal?"

"Animal of course." Rosalie answered.

"You won't happen to have a pound of human blood, lying around."

"No."

"We can get some from the hospital."

"No, I can give her mine." Bella offered.

"I would prefer you didn't. " Logan said.

"Why?"

"No particular reason." Logan shrugged.

"I'm sorry have I done something to you?" Bella confused by the attitude he was giving him.

"No yet."

"What's your problem?"

"Boys." Esme warned.

A knock echoed through the house and rang in their ears. They turned to the direction if the door.

"I'll get it." Carlisle offered.

"Hey, Doc?" Seth with an enthusiastic voice.

"Hello Seth." Carlisle smiled kindly at him before he looked beside him," Jacob, I see you've made a speedy recovery."

"Yeah thanks to you." He said awkwardly,"We're here to see River." Jacob said.

"I'm afraid she isn't asleep."

"Its been two days. Why hasn't she healed yet?" Jacob slightly confused and annoyed.

"That's what we trying to figure out."

"Can we still see her? Jake and I and the rest of the pack are worried about her." Seth pleads.

"Now, isn't..."

"Please." Seth begged.

Carlisle gave a tight smile before he opened the door wide,"sure come in. She's in her room." He said before he led them to River's room.
