[The End of The Beginning]

Mista, Fugo and Giorno were in the halls of Hawkins Middle School, surrounded by unconscious people that worked with the lab that Giorno escaped from. The blond had used his abilities to knock them out after they threatened to kill Fugo and Mista if he didn't go with them and they had yet to move from their spots. Mrs. Ghirga and the chief were already gone to go get Narancia back and Catherine left after she found out about the state Irene was in.

"Giorno, we have to get out of here before they send more." Mista insisted before the lights started to flicker around them, his and Fugo's eyes landing on Giorno but the boy shook his head to tell them that it wasn't him. They looked around and found cracks forming along the walls behind them and getting closer, the three quickly pushing forward and running away once they heard a low growl from around the corner.

They ran until they didn't know where to go anymore, ending up at a dead end where the only place to go was inside a classroom. "In here." Fugo called and pushed open the door to an empty classroom, the three heading inside and closing the door behind them. They backed away as they watched the walls snap and crack before the door was forced open by something, Fugo and Mista flinching as a burnt looking creature stood in the doorway of the classroom. It couldn't stare at them without eyes but it somehow did, it's face unfolding and forming a flower shape as it screeched at them, Giorno glaring at the monster while it walked inside.

Mista and Fugo looked at each other, terrified and worried about what was going to happen, before they turned their gazes back to the blond boy who slowly backed away from the creature until he was standing in front of them. "Giorno, don't do anything that'll get you hurt." Mista reminded making him send the hat wearing preteen an indifferent look over his shoulder, Giorno attempting to brush off the concerned faces that the two had.

Giorno watched as the monster that he's been seeing stalked closer and flinched when it leaped towards him, his eyes narrowing and his hand lifting up to use his powers to force it back against the blackboard, the pressure on it making the board crack as the Demogorgon's body became imprinted in the wall. The blond winced, confusion filling him when he also felt the pain that was being inflicted on the creature.

He ignored the feeling that was distracting him and continued his ministrations of sending it back to the Upside Down, the corners of his lips quirking up when he seen the thing begin to turn to dust. Giorno knew what would happen if he proceeded with forcing back into its own world but after what everyone has done for him, risking their lives and helping him, he wanted to protect them. His nose began to bleed from the use of his abilities and he quickly wiped it away before looking at the two behind him.

"Goodbye, Mista, Fugo." Giorno smiled as the lights above flickered then shut off for a moment, coming back on to reveal the boy gone and the two staring at the space where the blond used to be standing. The Demogorgon's ashes fluttered down into a small pile underneath the pushed in wall and Mista was the first one to take a step forward, a frown on his face as he tried to figure out what just happened.

A few days ago, him and Fugo were teaching Giorno how to act like a normal person but now he was gone, he saved them when they were trying to save him. "He saved us." Mista muttered while Fugo walked over to the remains of the creature from the other world, glaring down at it then lifting his foot to crush it into nothing.

"At least we know it's gone for good, even if Giorno disappeared with it." Pannacotta sighed and looked to his distraught friend on the ground, shaking his head as he turned away from Guido. He should've known that this wasn't going to last forever, people have already died from this and Giorno just happened to be one of them. "We should go outside and wait for Narancia's mom and the police chief."
