[Demogorgon]
___

(Y/n) was pretty sure that most of them were metaphorically shitting themselves at this point, maybe not Abbacchio because that guy's apparently seen everything, as the flashing Christmas light that were strewn across the ceiling told them that the thing they were waiting for had finally arrived. Catherine stood next to him with the crowbar from his bag in her hands that were tightly wrapped around it, her eyes darting around to see if she could find where it would be coming from first.

Bruno was on the other side of (Y/n) with Abbacchio beside him and the two held their own weapons, Bruno holding the knife that he used to cut his palm open with and Abbacchio holding the baseball bat that had nails precariously hammered into the top of it and bound to fall out at any moment.

"When is it going to show up?" Catherine questioned while (Y/n) gulped, his eyes landing on the front door when the heavy footfalls stopped outside of it. Bruno glanced at the male next to him and clenched his fist to make his hand bleed more for the creature to smell and come inside. The four of them simultaneously jumped back at the sound of the door suddenly slamming open and (Y/n) pushed Catherine back as they realized that they were looking at nothing.

Abbacchio's eyes narrowed into a glare, a scowl coming to his face, the son of a bitch was on the other side. "It's in the other world." He remarked, getting a frustrated look from (Y/n) before he turned back to where he thought the creature was. "There's nothing we can do over here unless it finds a portal." Leone sighed and lowered the bat in his grip to run a hand through his hair, pushing down a shiver from the cold air that came in through the door.

Catherine pursed her lips before racking her brain to remember anything that her brother and his friends said to Mrs. Ghirga and Chief Kujo earlier. Pannacotta called it the Upside Down, Guido using their D&D board as an example for it, and they said there was something chasing Narancia. God, she hated forgetting things like this, she used to do campaigns with them yet she still couldn't remember the name of that damn piece that Pannacotta slammed on the upside down board.

Then, two light bulbs went off in her mind. One being not what her little brother said but instead Mela Ghirga, and two being the name of that game piece. "Mrs. Ghirga told us that Narancia interacted with her using Christmas lights, right?" Catherine asked and (Y/n) nodded, Bruno and Abbacchio doing the same a moment after they remembered. The girl smiled and gestured to the bear trap in the hall to the left of them, their eyes following her arm.

"That means it must have that in the same place in the Upside Down, we just need to lure it over there." She explained as she walked over to it, the three staring at her back with impressed but not surprised looks on their faces. Abbacchio smirked and turned his head to the teen next to Bruno, reaching around the short haired male to push his shoulder and grab his attention.

(Y/n) shook his head then looked to Leone, a small smile on his face. "Your girlfriend's pretty smart, how'd you end up with her?" Abbacchio joked and (Y/n) rolled his eyes, sending him a small glare upon hearing his words as he jogged after Catherine to help her with everything. Bruno elbowed the white haired teen in his side and Leone grunted while grabbing the effected area, looking down to find his blue eyes giving him a disappointed look. "What? It's true."

Bruno placed the knife in his hand on the coffee table before going in the same direction that Catherine and (Y/n) went in, "That's not the point." He muttered making Abbacchio's eyebrow raise and his head recoiling as he watched Bruno disappear down the hall. He didn't know why (Y/n) got so riled up about his relationship, he was sure that people have said worse things than what he did. The teen huffed and following the three to figure out how to kill the creature that's been haunting them for the past few days.
