[Always On My Mind]
___

Mista's mood had already been dampened before he came to the arcade, his cat was killed because of him and Narancia was having episodes almost everyday, but it had worsened after recounting what happened with the Upside Down and remembering Giorno again. "That's about it, I'm pretty sure everyone still has nightmares and we haven't seen Giorno since then." He lamented while Trish released a loud sigh, turning on the spinning stool to face the boy. He didn't tell her about the time when they were looking for Dart, he didn't want her to have any bad feelings against the blond when he came back one day.

The pink haired girl shrugged her shoulders before smiling, "I don't think it's dramatic enough, I mean, your friend would've easily killed the demo-whatever with his powers." She remarked and Mista rose a brow in confusion and disbelief, his frown deepening at the fact that she didn't believe his story. Could she not tell that something like this was too detailed to be made up? He would never make up something out Narancia like that, he'd never wish that sort of thing upon anyone.

He watched and listened as she continued to critique his "made-up" story about Narancia and last year, his chest tightening in regret and annoyance. "You don't believe me?" Guido asked making Trish shake her head and stand up from her seat to lean against one of the arcade games, her green eyes landing on Mista.

"It's unbelievable, the only thing I believed from it was that Narancia went missing and I already knew about that." She insisted and Mista rolled his eyes at how she was acting, why couldn't she get it through her head? It would explain why Fugo was acting the way that he was and what kind of creature Dart is. He guessed that this was how Fugo felt when he was trying to tutor Narancia because he felt like he was talking to brick wall.

"You know what," Mista started as he got up from his seat and headed for the door that was a few feet away, his hand reaching for the doorknob and wrapping around it. Before he opened it, he turned to Trish and glared at her, the girl scowling the look she was being sent, "If you decide that you believe me or something, meet me at the old junkyard at twelve o'clock." He gave her one last moment to tell him that she changed her mind about everything but ultimately she stayed quiet and didn't say anything else to him.

The boy huffed and threw open the door to the maintenance room, stalking through the arcade that had gotten a little bit quieter since he showed up, his hands shoving the glass doors to allow him to leave the building. He ignored the looks that he got from the people in the parking lot, to them he probably appeared to be a kid who lost all his money and won nothing, but little did they know.

As he crossed the parking lot from the sidewalk that surrounded the arcade, he didn't notice the familiar Camaro that had dropped Trish off and was frequently found at school. Vibrant green eyes followed him with a glare, already knowing that he had interacted with his sister during his time inside the arcade despite his warning that he gave the girl.

"They never listen, do they?" Diavolo mumbled as he finally pulled his gaze away from the boy to see Trish stomping out of the building and towards the car. He slipped down his sunglasses to watch the girl get in with a heated expression on her face from something he hadn't seen. "What did I say about talking to him?" He questioned making her turn her head to him and raise a brow, his glare telling her that he knew.

Trish ignored him and continued with buckling her seatbelt but her wrist was grabbed before she could finish, her eyes glancing between the hand on her and her brother. "I thought I said not to talk to him anymore, Trish." Diavolo growled and Trish clenched her jaw to keep in a pained sound as his grip tightened around her wrist. "You can't even listen to that!" She flinched as he raised his voice, trying to pull her arm away but his hold didn't release until she whimpered from the tightness, his hand shoving her arm away from her and his attention turning to the radio.
