[Worlds Apart]

Fugo was furious. This kid was playing them now, powers or not, he was playing them like a goddamn fiddle. "You said Narancia was hiding," Pannacotta growled as he stared at the entrance of the Ghirga residence, his head turning to look at the brown haired boy next to him. "Why the hell are we at his house?! If he was at home then the police wouldn't be looking for him and his mother wouldn't be worrying!" Giorno was messed up if he thought that they'd fall for his tricks, he was just another bully that was sick and twisted enough to pull shit like this.
He brought them out here until he pitch black dark and got them here by saying that their friend was alive and hiding away. Only to lead them here where Narancia clearly was not hiding.
"Fugo, calm down." Mista tried to help but the white haired boy turned his glare to his friend and he flinched at the enraged look on his face. "Giorno is trying to help us. There must be a reason why he thinks that Narancia is here." Giorno glanced between the two arguing friends before realizing that they couldn't see what he did back at the Fugo's household, they didn't see the boy desperately trying to get somebody to help him escape the hell that he was trapped in.
Giorno opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of sirens passing by the three of them, their heads turning to the noise and finding ambulances and police cars speeding down the road to something that they wouldn't believe was real.
Fugo glared at the two of them while hopping onto his bike, "Don't just stand there, let's go!" He called as he peddled away from Narancia's house and after the emergency vehicles headed towards the quarry. Mista let Giorno get on the back of his bicycle before quickly chasing after Fugo, who was a few feet ahead of them.
He was hoping that it wouldn't be who he thought it was, he was praying that when he got there it wouldn't be Narancia being placed in an ambulance or something. He knew it sounded bad, but he hoped it was the other missing girl, Catherine's friend, Irene because at least she made it to high school. Narancia still needed to learn how to do math and study for tests with him but cheat on them anyway.
"Fugo! Wait up!" Mista panted as he tried to keep up but Fugo was too fast, he didn't have another person riding with him, and by the time he made it there he had already dropped his bike and was watching them pull up a body from the quarry. Giorno got off first and then Mista, the two running over and standing with Fugo, the two friends hearts stopping when they seen the face of the body.
Pannacotta bit the inside of his lip as he held in tears, his breathing speeding up while he tried to look away from Narancia's pale face. He wasn't the same boy he knew anymore, he was dead and they'd never speak again. Fugo rubbed his eyes before turning to Giorno, a scowl on his face, "You lied to me! You said Narancia was alive but he's dead!" He yelled while Giorno jumped at the loud noise, a confused look on his face, not understanding why Fugo was mad at him.
Mista had tears in his eyes, his shoulders shaking as he tried not to breakdown in front of everyone. "Narancia, no." He mumbled to himself and took in a deep breath to try and calm himself, Narancia couldn't be dead. His eyes drifted to the brown haired boy beside him, he said that he was sure that Narancia was hiding somewhere and his powers or whatever hadn't failed before when he was making things float and figured out Narancia's name.
"I'm done with this, don't come back to my house." Fugo told Giorno as he turned his back to the scene, leaving Mista to call his name and Giorno frown at how he didn't believe him. He didn't know how to tell the boy that his friend wasn't dead on that stretcher and instead in a world similar but different than theirs.
