[Sweet Sweet Rain]
___

(Y/n) had ended up driving both Catherine and Bruno home after Irene didn't show up, his tipsy feeling disappearing after he seen how worried the girl was for her friend. She had ran inside quicker than he could even say goodbye, the teenager waving to her back with a sigh before he drove away from her home. In the backseat was Bruno, tucked away as he waited to be dropped off at his own house.

His wet clothes reside in a plastic bag that was in his lap while his hair had yet to dry and stuck to the side of his face and neck. He had heard Catherine and (Y/n) talking about Irene, the girl that the former is friends with, and wondered what might've happened. Bruno didn't want to ask in case it was something not very serious and he came off as being nosy, he wasn't but he'd only just met (Y/n). Speaking of the teen, he had a worried look on his face that was accentuated by the streetlights that would shine in the car every time they passed under one.

Bruno glanced out of the window beside him and found that they had turned onto his street, his house coming into view not long after. It was barely visible through the pouring rain that started not long after they had gotten in from the pool. The red brick didn't stand out much amongst the many others of the same design and it made him wonder why Catherine had chosen him to go to (Y/n)'s party when there was so many other people that were just like him. If she was looking to be a charity case then she should've went for the Abbacchio kid that everyone whispered about but she didn't.

"Well, this is your stop." (Y/n) announced as his car pulled to a halt in front of his home. Bruno nodded and moved to open his door but stopped, his hand resting on the handle while he turned his head to look at the teen in the drivers seat.

"Is everything alright? You look worried about something." Bruno finally asked what was partially on his mind since they had left the house. (Y/n) looked at the short haired boy in his rearview mirror and rose a brow, seeing the curious look in Bruno's eyes.

(Y/n) was worried about Catherine and how she was taking Irene leaving her at his house so late at night. He didn't know where the girl had went, her car that she came there in was still parked on the road and Catherine didn't even see her leave. Irene seemed like a nice girl from how concerned she was over his girlfriend, he didn't think there was a person in their school that thought he was a bad guy like Irene did and he didn't blame her. He was a dick before he had started dating Catherine.

Bruno waited for him to speak and noticed how (Y/n)'s grip had loosened around the steering wheel and his hands dropped to be in his lap. It was clear that the older boy was worked up about something but he couldn't tell what it was about.

"Catherine is just having some problems with Irene, I'm sure they'll get it under control." (Y/n) answered with a sigh, smiling at Bruno to reassure him. Bruno narrowed his eyes but accepted the answer, sending him a smile of his before getting out of the car. He gave (Y/n) a wave after getting to his front door and opened it as the vehicle drove off to head home.

Abbacchio sat on the front porch of his house, smoking one of the cigarettes that he found under his bed. It was stale as all could be but he couldn't have cared less, he wanted to get rid of the feeling of having something in his grasp that wasn't a bottle.

It was dark out, normal as it's around around one in the morning, and the cool wind pushed his tied-up hair around. The teen took one last drag of his cigarette before squishing it against the wooden boards beneath him to put it out then tossing it into the makeshift ashtray that was on the step. His chilled hand reached for the doorknob to enter his house but he stopped abruptly when a faint scream and a growl came from the woods behind him.
