[Heartbreaker]
___

Mista, Fugo and Trish were left in shock, confusion, and worry of what occurred at school, the three having to watch as Narancia was picked up from school by his mother and taken to the old lab where his doctor was. The two boys knew that Narancia hated that place, it was the place where everything started going downhill for him, and they wanted nothing more than to run after the car and get him back.

"Do you guys know what just happened?" Trish asked as they left school that day, Fugo and Mista heading for their bikes while Trish followed after them. "Does it have something to do with that thing you found, Mista?" The girl was worried, it wasn't everyday that the one the boys you just met suddenly started convulsing after a seemingly normal conversation. Well, as normal as a conversation about a weird and undiscovered creature could get.

Fugo sighed before turning to the pink haired girl, his face full of annoyance while his hands gripped his bike's handlebars tightly. "Listen, Trish," He began while Mista glanced at the two of them with a hint of worry, Fugo wouldn't think twice if Trish happened to anger him. "I understand that you're worried but right now, Narancia's problem doesn't have anything to do with you." Trish narrowed her eyes at the white haired boy before she stepped back with a scoff.

"I was just asking, you don't have to be an asshole about it." She huffed and Fugo inhaled sharply while Mista pursed his lips as he let his bike fall back against the racks and approached his friend. "I spent my time helping you try to find that weird slug thing and you won't even tell me why your friend was like that?" Trish was thoroughly annoyed at this point but Fugo was feeling it just as much as her, her words making him clench his fists to keep his anger in.

Mista laughed nervously while rubbing Fugo's shoulders, his eyes flicking between the two, "How about we talk about this later? We're all worried about Narancia right now and probably want to go home." He tried to diffuse the tension but Trish just scoffed and shook her head, turning around and beginning to walk away from the duo without another word. "Trish? Hey, where're you going!" Mista called as she got further and further away, heading towards the parking lot that was a little ways away from them.

"Away from you guys!" Trish responded while Mista pursed his lips, leaving Fugo to run after her making him huff and climb on his bike to ride away. He quickly peddled his bicycle down the sidewalk and towards the direction of Narancia's house, hoping to find him and his mother there to get answers on what happened.

While Fugo disappeared down the street, Mista tried to catch up with the pink haired girl who was nearing a purple Camaro, his voice echoing through the parking lot. "Hold on, we can talk about this! Trish!" He yelled while Trish slowed to a stop a few feet away from the car, her green eyes landing on him with a glare that almost made him flinch. "Just slow down for a minute." Mista wasn't sure why Fugo didn't like Trish so much, she only beat his high score and it wasn't like he couldn't get that back. But he was acting cold to her when she was worried about Narancia just as much as they were.

"Then tell me why Narancia was like that? He was normal yesterday and today he's convulsing in the middle of a field." Trish asked making Mista look down at the pavement they were standing on, unable to answer her. She frowned even though she was expecting it, she knew she wouldn't get any answers from him or Fugo but she couldn't understand why. "You can't even answer the one question that I have?" They were quiet as the cool wind pushed by them, ruffling their jackets and forcing the two to shiver from the cold that nipped at their faces.

Mista hesitantly glanced up to meet her eyes but felt guilty when he seen the concern and anger in them, it was the first time in a while that someone their age was actually worried about Narancia. "It's a long story that I can't tell you, as much as I want to." He insisted while Trish didn't bother responding to him anymore, instead silently staring at him with a disappointed look on her face.
