Chapter 6, "Im proud of you"

Harry's POV

later that night....

Once I got back home, the kids and Jayda were knocked out in the bed together. It was about to be 11 so it wasn't surprising. I completely lost track of time while in the studio.

Jayda's eyes began to flutter open as I kissed her forehead.

"Somebody's had an eventful day. What on earth have you done with my kids?" I laughed.

"Shhh. I don't want to wake them. They're exhausted. And actually, yes the kids and I had a very eventful day." she smiled.

She guided me to the living room so we could actually speak normally.

"So...how was it?" she beamed.

"It was actually pretty amazing. It felt so natural to me. I've missed it so much. I have this great guitarist called Mitch. He's amazing." I blabbed.

Jayda smiled from ear to ear listening to every detail.

"I'm glad. You seem so much happier. Not saying you were the grinch, but your smile is so much brighter now."

"Only you would notice that," I said, giving her a peck, " so what did you and the kids do?"

"We had so much fun. We went for fro-yo and pizza, did a little shopping, and watched both of the Frozen movies again." she smiled.

"Nice to know we both had fun today." I laughed.

"I know right. I just wanted to spend time with them. They're growing up so fast."

"I get it. I'm nervous since they'll be starting school soon." I admitted.

"This is what I was scared of when it comes motherhood. They're growing up on me," she began to tear up.

"Awwww, come here." I teased.

She snuggled into my arms. I know she was frightful of the future, but I had no doubt that whatever comes our way, we'll get through it.

"Come on. I'm exhausted." I said, guiding her to the room.

"You and I both. I should tell you, Hannah and Hendrix had me play One Direction non stop in the car today."

"My kids," I laughed.

Jayda got on the side of Hendrix as I laid by Hannah. We put our arms over them and pulled the covers back up.

The next day...

Jayda and I were packing the kids in the car to go see Louis. He texted in the group chat earlier to announce that he was back and wanted all of us to come over. Louis and I were big family people, so it was no surprise that he wanted all of us to come around.

"I'm so excited to be going over there. It's been so long." Jayda chimed.

I know how much Jayda has missed Lou and Eleanor. They're usually the ones we call on if we need help other than Niall.

We pulled up to Louis house to find all the other boy's cars already parked in the round driveway. Jayda unstrapped the kids as I went to ring the doorbell.

"Harold!" Louis greeted, giving me a great big hug.

"Aye Harry!" Niall said, as he came rushing towards the door.

Jayda and Hendrix came strolling behind with Hannah in her arms.

"Uncle Lou!" Hendrix shouted, letting go of Jayda and running to Louis.

"Hey little man. How are you?"

"Good. We've missed you." he pouted.

"I've missed you too bud. And how is my pretty lady?" he asked, motioning towards Hannah and taking her in his arms.
