Chapter 78, "Apologies"

Jayda's POV

"C, I promise it's not what it looks like. Harry was just covering me because I'm um.....wet....and everyone can see my behind...." I answered.

"Why didn't you just find me then?"

"Umm I don't know, maybe because you kissed some random chick."

"Wait what?" Harry asked confused.

"You literally have no room to talk. And it wasn't like that if you just would have let me explain."

"Explain then."

"Could you just please move first?"

"Do you want my ass out?" I asked, hearing Harry chuckle behind me.

"It's been out this whole freaking time....just please come with me." he huffed.

"Fine. Thank you Harry."

"No problem. It honestly wasn't like that though Corbyn. I just didn't think you would want her walking around....so exposed." Harry said, walking off.

Corbyn took my hand and led me to his room.

"Explain please." I said.

"The girl asked for a picture and then asked for a kiss on the cheek. She turned her head at the last minute and we accidentally kissed. At least it was accidental on my part. I wouldn't do that to you Jayda you know that."

I looked at him thoughtfully not exactly knowing what to say. I know he would never personally hurt me, but that still doesn't mean I'm not a little upset.

"Jayda?"

"Yea...I'm sorry. I know you wouldn't do that to me and I'm sorry for reacting like that. However, I don't apologize for having a good time. But honestly baby, what you saw was not what it looked like. You should know me better than that. You told me to be aware and I am."

"It's not the fact that you were having fun Jayda. I would never stop you from having fun Jayda, it was just a lot to process. Especially the money thing. I did not like that at all."

"And I agreed with you. I told you I thought it was a bit much but once again, it was my last song. I'm not trying to disrespect you C."

"I know you're not. I don't know why I'm being like this."

"Because you're looking after me. It's cute." I smiled.

"Don't think you're getting off that easy. I'm still pissed."

"Understood. I'll make it up to you though."

"You need to change though. I'll be damned if you go back out there like that."

"Ugh....fine. You're lucky I brought an extra dress."

"As long as it covers more than this one."

"Now what's the fun in that?"

"Jayda...."

"Right. Okay. I'm changing."

I changed into a rose gold silk dress that was still a little short and it had an open back, but at least it wasn't see through. There were some strings hanging down the sides as well.

I walked back out and to the kitchen to get some Sprite because I have a fucking headache. To my surprise, I found Jonah, Kara, and Zayn in there looking like they were having a showdown. Kara look like she just got caught in 4k.

"What's going on?" I asked, slipping past them and to the fridge.

"Your sister here was literally about to fuck Zayn on the counter." Jonah spat.
