Chapter 37, "Who is he?"

the next day...
I woke up alone in the bed. I thought nothing of it and simply went to take a shower. Once I was done, I walked out to find Nick and Harry talking over a cup of coffee.

"Well good morning boys." I greeted them, going past them to get some orange juice.

"Good morning darling. How did you sleep?" Harry smirked, I looked at him shaking my head.

"I slept nicely. How did you sleep Nick? I hope the sheets were comfortable."

"Truthfully, that was the best sleep I've ever had. Being an athlete, I usually just settle for 30 minutes of sleep in a horrible bed." he laughed.

"I'm glad it met your satisfaction." I smiled.

I took my seat across Nick and beside Harry.

"Where is everyone else?" I asked.

"I'm pretty sure everyone is knocked out in their rooms." Harry informed.

"Well they need to get up. Hey did Zayn ever come home?"

"I don't know honestly. Either he did and he had a great reason or he's dead and Kara has already hidden the body." Harry joked, and I hit him in his chest gaining a laugh from Nick.

"He's alive sadly." Kara said, tiredly.

"What do you mean? Are you okay?" I asked.

"No not really. Anyways, who's the new guy?"

"Hello I'm Nick. I'm Jayda's.....friend." he smiled.

"Hello Nick. The name is Kara." she smiled back, giving him a flirtatious wink.

"Okay...Kara let's go." I said, taking her into my room.

"What I was having fun?"

"I think the "fun" would quickly stop when he finds out that you're pregnant with your still boyfriend's baby. Plus it's weird to see you flirting with my ex."

"Ex? Wait that's the one you kissed in America?" she gasped.

"Mhmm." I said, shamefully. "I mean there's no more feelings obviously because I'm with Harry."

"Yeah you sound like you're trying to convince yourself." she laughed.

"You know what...this isn't about me. What's going on between you and Zayn."

"He came home really late last night and he wouldn't tell me why. Then he finally told me but I don't believe him."

"Well where was he?"

"He was sleeping on some girl's couch, but he said they didn't do anything and that the only reason he didn't tell me was because he thought I would be mad at him."

"Which you are...."

"Yeah only because he waited so late to tell me. Now there's no way he's telling the truth. I mean c'mon , that's a pretty lousy excuse." she explained.

"I mean I don't know what happened so I won't pick sides, but I will tell you flirting is not the answer. You're still in a relationship Kara, talk it out."

"Ughh. I hate when people are right, especially you. I will but I want him to feel guilty a little longer." she laughed.

"Oh god. What am I going to do with you?"

"You need to be asking what you're going to do with them two fine men in there."
