Chapter 81, "Tired"

Harry's POV

"Kara? What's going on?"

"Meet us at the hospital right now Harry."

"What-why?" I asked, sitting up from my piano.

"Harry it's Jayda. Just get here please. I'll get Jack to pick up the kids, but you need to get to the hospital right now."

She hung up the phone. What just happened? I got up and hurried into Zayn's room.

"I have to go to the hospital." I told him.

"Why what happened?"

"It's Jayda. I don't know what it is but Kara just called."

"I'll come with. Grab ZJ's bag."

"You don't have to go."

"Yes I do. Not just for you, she's my sister too."

"Alright. We need to hurry though."

Corbyn's POV

I sped to the hospital and Jayda was still unconscious, but her eyelids were flickering. I know about all the trips Jayda has made to the hospital in the past, but she just keeps ending up here. Why does she do this to herself?

I parked in the front and carried Jayda inside. Kara and Jonah were right behind me, Kara carrying Jade.

I rushed her inside and nurses immediately came to our sides.

"She's unconscious as of right now." I told them.

They took her out of my arms and took her away. I know she'll be okay...she has to be. It's the pills and cuts in her arm that scares me the most though. I paced around the room and waited, that's when Harry and Zayn showed up.

"What happened? Tell me what happened?" Harry demanded.

"I don't know. I found her unconscious in the tub. Did you know she was taking pills?"

"Yes."

"Yes?" Kara asked in shock. "And you didn't want to tell us this?"

"Hey, I only found out earlier today. She promised she wouldn't do anything."

"What type of pills?" Zayn asked.

"Xanax. Some doctor prescribed her xanax."

"Who the hell?" Zayn said.

"Harry...." I sighed.

"What? I honestly found out today only."

"No. That's not what I was about to say. She has...she has cuts on her arm."

"She has what?" he gasped.

"She...she was cutting herself Harry."

"No. There's no way. She wouldn't do that." Kara said.

Our conversation was interrupted by a doctor walking out and interrupting us.

Harry's POV

"Dr. Avery?"

"Hello Harry. I asked to be on Jayda's case. Harry....Jayda has been placed on suicide watch."

"Suicide watch?"

"Yes. We fear that if we let her go, she'll try to hurt herself again. Jayda had an overdose and if she would have taken anymore pills, it...it would have not ended well."

"This cannot be happening." I said, shaking my head.

"She's stable for now and I hooked her up to a banana bag IV to get her to sober up. She's still unconscious but she'll wake up soon. I'm going to arrange for her to talk to a psych."
