Chapter 89, "Always and Forever"

Jayda's POV

This is the end. It's actually happening. Nothing hurts more than finding out you lost a child. After everything I've been through, isn't it crazy that a damn car crash is going to be the thing that takes me out? Ironic.

My thoughts were interrupted when Niall, Louis, and Liam walked in the room. I know I look like complete crap right now due to the reactions from Kara, Zayn, Eleanor, Maya, and even Amelia. I was surprised to see that all of them had tears in their eyes. They were trying their hardest to be strong, but it wasn't working at all. I saw right through them.

"Hey..." I mumbled, it being painful for me to speak.

Dr. Avery told me the extents of my injuries. I was basically in a body cast just waiting to go into this life or death surgery. Everything hurts so bad, but I can't show it. I've always been good at hiding things after all.

"Jayda..." Louis started, tears already seeping through.

"No. No. D-don't do that. P-please d-don't do that." I said weakly. The pain is starting to become more unbearable the longer I wait for the surgery.

"Jayda..." he said again.

"You're going to be okay you hear me? All of you. All of you are going to be perfectly fine no matter what happens."

"What about you?" Niall asked quietly.

"I'm okay. I will be okay." I say, pulling a half smile.

"What will we do without you?" Liam asked, speaking the thoughts that everyone is too scared to come to terms with.

"Liam!" Louis shouted. "Don't fucking do that. She's not dead yet. She won't be dead at all."

"Louis....it's okay. He's just asking a question."

"He doesn't get to ask that question. Nobody does." he sniffed.

I raise my hand as much as I can so he can grab it, Niall grabbing my other one. "I need you three to promise me something." I say.

"Anything." Niall says.

"Lo-look after Harry for me please..."

"Jayda you're not-" Louis interrupts.

"No. Just promise me. Promise me you all will stay together. Promise me you'll look after the kids. Protect Hannah from this cruel world, protect Hendrix from carrying the burden of my loss on his back, and protect Jade from any danger coming her way. But most of all.....promise me you won't give up on Harry. He'll need you, all of you." I finish, my voice hoarse and cracking throughout.

They stare at me, tears escaping their faces. Niall and Louis held my hands tightly. "We promise." Louis finally answers.

"Thank you. I love you all so so much. Thank you for accepting me." I say, crying out when not even meaning to.

"We love you too Jayda." Liam says.

Harry's POV

I watch as Kara balls her eyes out along with the rest of the girls. I've stayed silent through all of this. I know I should be feeling something, anything, but all I feel is numbness. I have to stay strong.
