Yamaguchi's POV

"Tsukki, how far is this new place??"

"I have no map, so. I'm not really sure."

"Oh, well that's okay!" I said with a smile, sticking close to Tsukki. We had traveled east for a while and found a place to rest. I had some supplies on me just from Daichi's camp, so I let Tsukki have the weapons since, I couldn't use them well.

While we were laying together, I rolled up Tsukki's sleeve and looked at his arm. I couldn't believe that the bite was so old, and he was okay. Tsukki looked at me quietly before gently patting my head.

"Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah. I just can't believe that you're the one who's immune." I mumbled, resting my head on his chest. Tsukki chuckled slightly and looked up.

"Yeah, me neither." He mumbled, closing his eyes. I smiled faintly as I looked at him. All I wanted to do was kiss him, but he was afraid to let me. Tsukki said he's worried somehow it could spread through a kiss. Which was possible.

I'm not sure if it had to be through some sort of bite directly to the bloodstream, or what. But if it was like a normal virus or infection, any type of bodily fluid exchange would do it, including saliva. So, just a kiss could do it, but I almost didn't care.

But I didn't want to worry Tsukki, so I'd refrain. But would I have to go forever without being able to kiss him? I don't know. I really didn't want to. Kisses could still be placed elsewhere, but the lips is always best.

Tsukki seemed to pass out, but I was still awake. I feel a bit bad leaving Hinata and Suga. I knew that they could handle themselves just fine, but I'm sure a little extra help around the medic building was welcomed. Plus, they had no idea I was gonna leave and not come back. At least not until Ennoshita and the others got back.

I laid there in thought for a good while before finally getting tired. I was happy to get to snuggle up to Tsukki again. I glanced up at him, giving his cheek a little kiss before closing my eyes and going to sleep.

Tsukishima's POV

"Yama, you awake?"

"Mm. No." Yama mumbled and buried his face into my side. I smiled faintly, letting my lips brush against his forehead before I turned my head away. Well, it was early. We could stay a little longer.

I yawned, holding him close to me and closing my eyes again. I was happy to see him again. Sure we dated like, 2 days and then I thought I was going to die, and turned out we were wrong. But I love him, something about him was special.

My eyes popped open when Yama moved. I looked at him when he scooted closer. I wanted to kiss him, but I was afraid to. If I got him infected, I'm pretty sure I'd have to throw myself into a horde.

"Tsukki.."

"I know, but we can't Yama." I said, cupping his cheek. He pouted and slowly got up. We both took some time to wake up before heading out. I squinted and looked at the sun before continuing our way east. Things have been relatively calm, thankfully.

We didn't have a lot of stuff since we only had what I could scavenge over these past few weeks and what Yama had from Daichi's camp. Surely we'd run into another group. There were a lot of survivors. Like humans do, they can't agree so there are many settlements. I didn't care which one we got to, as long as it was safe.

Few Days Time Skip: ???'s POV

"Alright, we're heading out. We'll be back in about a few hour."

"Be safe okay?"

"We will." I smiled, waving goodbye to the group before returning home. I kept en eye on the clock. Even though this is a daily routine, it always scared me that my husband or the others here wouldn't get home. I was always worried something would happen to them.

The hours passed quickly, well, it was longer than that today but, thankfully they were back now. Soon enough, I could hear yells and orders for the gates to open. I left my home and rushed there before tilting my head curiously. Hm? Who're these people.

I watched as a few men escorted the strangers off as my husband walked over to me. He put his arm around me as I hummed faintly.

"Who are they?"

"They're survivors we found."

"Are they clean?"

"Yeah. One has a bad burn he has wrapped but neither have bites."

"Oh, that's good. We bringing them in?" I asked, my husband nodding his head. He said he was going to go home, so I went to go see who these new people were. I followed to where all newcomers were taken and found them being taken care of. When I walked in, the other men moved aside.

"Who're you?"

"I'm Tsukishima. This is Yamaguchi."

"Hm. Been checked?"

"Yes."

"Coming from another camp?"

"We were at one, but left."

"Why?"

"We felt we needed to go elsewhere."

"Who's camp."

"His name is Daichi."

"Daichi? Huh, alright. Okay, then you both know how things around here will work. You work to keep yourselves alive here."

"Yes, we understand."

"Good. We have more technology than Daichi's settlement. You won't be allowed to use any of it though until you build up some credits."

"Credits?"

"Our version of currency. It acts as a base for trust. Do some work, build up some credits, then you'll be good to go."

"I see."

"Good. Then, welcome to become a part of our camp, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. I'm Oikawa."
