I couldn't sleep last night.
I stayed up most of the night just thinking about the text message from Jesse that I saw on my phone before my mom decided to take it.
I just need to know what kind of information Jesse found or dug up. I stop pacing around my room and look over at my clock on my table lamp
It's seven O' one.
School starts soon.
I slowly walk over to my mirror on my vanity while rubbing my eyes.
I look at myself through the mirror. You can definitely tell I didn't get much sleep last night. You can definitely see the dark bags underneath my eyes.
Good thing someone invented makeup. I don't know what I would do without it. I start to apply my foundation and concealer. While I'm doing so I start to think about my phone again and where my mom could've hid it.
I haven't had my phone taken away before or at least not for a punishment.
I apply the rest of my makeup on and afterwards I take a huge yawn
Stay awake Millie. You have to make it through the day.
I walk over to my dresser and take out a pair of ripped blue jeans and a navy blue t-shirt with a logo in the corner of it.
I trudge towards my stack of shoes and grab my white vans. I'm honestly really surprised these shoes are still so white for how much I wear them.
I yawn again.
Make it through the day Millie. I grab my backpack off the floor leaving my room to start heading downstairs
I walk down the hallway and reach the top of the stairs but I stop walking in my tracks. I look around my surroundings real quick to see if anyone is here. I turn around and do a quick walk by the bedrooms.
Coast is clear.
I set my back pack down in the middle of the hallway.
Where could my phone be?
If I was a angry mom hiding my teenagers phone where would I put it?
I walk down the hallway going into my parents bathroom.
I know this is an odd place to hid a phone but it's a start
I turn on the light and start opening the bathroom cabinets moving everything around and going through all the baskets on the shelves
No phone.
I do a deep sigh and put everything back then exiting the bathroom
Come on Millie where could a phone be hiding at. I take a second to think of ideas where it could be at as I'm standing in the hallway. I look around the hallway before an idea pops up.
Hallway closet
I walk quickly to the end of the hallway and start searching the closet for my phone.
Come on where is it.
I move more items around in the closet but suddenly I hear footsteps approaching behind me.
"Millie if you're trying to find your phone I'm telling you right now you aren't going to find it" I turn around slowly holding something in my hand
I face my mother.
She's wearing a nice pair of blue jeans and a blouse but from the looks of it, it looks like she's holding a cup of tea. She must've left and just got back home.
