The music is loud and my feet are killing me. I need to sit down but It's only been a few hours and I'm having so much fun.
I rub my head and look around. Wheres Lucas? He should be back by now, he said he was just going to get something to drink.
I grunt at the pain that tingles on the heels of my feet. I look around for any sign of Lucas but I don't see him anywhere. He seriously should be back by now. I walk towards the punch bowl across the room to see if he is still over there.
I squeeze passed a bunch of people dancing on the dance floor trying not to get in their way. As I passed by, I glance over to the punch bowl but i'm still not close enough to tell who's over there. I walk closer to get near the punch bowl and i'm finally able to see Lucas still standing around but he isn't alone.
I squint my eyes trying to see who hes talking with. It looks like he talking with..wait..is that Leila? She flicks her blonde curled hair back facing next to her. I look over to where Leila focus went and I find another another person involved in their conversation but I can't tell who it is. They're making hand gestures but I cant tell if their laughing or not. I stare at the three of them as Leila swings her arm around in frustration.
It looks like they're arguing. What could they be arguing about?
I don't want to bother them. I turn around to go sit back down to let my feet rest as I wait for him.

"Millie!"
Startled at the sound of my name being called from downstairs, my eyes go wide causing me to wake from my slumber.
I realize I have drool on my face so I wipe it off my cheek and let out a big yawn. Why is someone trying to wake me up so damn early by yelling my name as loud as they can? Couldn't they just walk up here and politely knock on my door?
Ignoring my name being called I decide just ten more minutes of sleep then I will get up. I try to doze off but I hear the same voice yell again.
"Millie! Or should I say Miggles!" Oh. No. He. Didn't.
I sit up in my bed by the annoying voice of my brother. He did not just try to wake me up by using a nickname he gave me when we were five. Yes, I said five. He gave me the nickname Miggles because he thought he was a funny five year old and swore he was a comedian but from what I can remember he was the exact opposite.
"What do you want!" I yell at the top of my lungs. If he really needs to talk to me he can just come up here like a normal person after all he is a football player so walking up a few step of stairs cant be that bad unless he's that lazy.
"It's almost noon! Get your butt up! Also someone is here for you!" It's noon? I peek over to my clock on my nightstand. Did I really sleep in that late? After yesterday I'm not surprised I slept in but who could possibly be here for me? I didn't expect anyone.
I jump out of my bed and ran to my mirror on my vanity. My hair is a big mess! I can see the bags underneath my eyes! I brush my hair real quick and put some foundation and concealer on as best as I could to not look gross. I walk out of my room and go downstairs into the living room.
"Who could be here at this time-" I couldn't even finish my sentence before I lock eyes with a certain pair of bright blue eyes. Carter. I'm not surprised he stopped by. I didn't think I could avoid him forever. I tried to think of something else to say but all I could think of was the word that came out of my mouth.
"Hey." I awkwardly say with a wave which automatically makes me want to slam my head into the wall. He looks at me stern look trying to keep cool of what he's about to say.
