He stares at me with disbelief with wide eyes and all causing himself to drop his backpack onto the ground
"M-Millie." Annoyed with just looking at him I shake my head while biting my lip before speaking up.
I can feel my blood boiling underneath my skin.
"Don't Millie me Brayden!" My hands automatically rest on my hips.
As I'm standing around I hear a few snickers causing me to look around remembering that it wasn't just us in the hallway.
This hallway is currently filled with eavesdropping peers.
I drop my hands immediately from my hips picking up Braydens backpack that he dropped into the hallway floor and stick it out towards him.
"Take your damn backpack you're causing a scene." Still stunned by my presents he slowly takes his bag from my hands letting out a loud scoff while doing so
"I'm causing a scene? As I recall I'm not the one who is pulling people by their backpacks." He looks me up and down giving me a smirk making me roll my eyes.
"I see you still have that stuck up personality." Looking up at him I can see his tongue poking out the side of his cheek thinking of what to say
"I see you still have that one of a kind bitch personality..so I guess some things never change Millie." I let out a sarcastic laugh. I could do this all day with him but this isn't why I'm here.
I take a deep breathe trying to keep my cool.
What was I thinking when I decided I should come here and face Brayden? There's no way Lucas was seeing someone as rude and as arrogant as Brayden is.
As I already said once and will say again it's impossible.
"What's impossible?" Brayden looks at me with confusion. Oops..Did I say that last part out loud?
I shake my head ignoring his question.
It doesn't matter who Lucas was seeing. I mean it does but it's more important to find out the truth about what really happened to Lucas that night.
I bite my tongue trying to think of what to say to Brayden next without it being some snarky comment.
Brayden begins to itch the back of his head being impatient.
After a few moments of standing awkwardly in the middle of the hallway I grab Brayden by the arm dragging him to the first empty classroom I can find.
"I'm going to be late for class! Millie let me go!" Ignoring him still I push him into the classroom.
He's twice my size if he really wanted to get to class he could.
I slam the classroom door behind me at the same time the period bell goes off.
"Great now I'm late for class." He walks over to an empty desk and slumps in the chair
"Oh boo-hoo cry me a river." Brayden sits up in his chair after my reply and I lean against the door crossing my arms looking at him.
"Ya know if you wanted to be in a room alone together you didn't have to drag me you could've just simply asked and I would've been more than happy to oblige." He says with a smirk plastered all over his face leaning over his desk. Gross.
"You're disgusting." I give him a disgusted look and walk over the windows at the back of the classroom to look outside
"Got to make up for the lost time am I right? The last time I saw you was not long ago at the football game."
