I need to find out where this key belongs to.

I might sound crazy and this might be stupid and a waste of time but for some reason my stomach gets a weird feeling when I hold the key and I feel this pulling feeling to find answers and I know exactly where I need to go.

I pull into the driveway of a house and not just any house, a beautiful gray house with white trim.

A house I used to adore.

My heart begins to race as I stare knowing that I haven't been here in so long.

Come on Millie you can do this. Just go up to the door and knock.

Turning my car off, I take a deep breath stepping outside.

Passing by the lovely garden I notice some changes have been made to the outside starting with some new gnomes that have been placed along with freshly planted tulips of many colors.

As I step onto the brick steps of the porch my palms begin to become sweaty, causing my hands to clamp up tightly.

I just need to breathe and ring the doorbell. Easy peasy, I can do this. I stare at the doorbell for a minute and then slowly brought my finger up and pushes the bell and just like that the door swings open.

"Why are you here?" A snarky voice barks.

It's Leila.

She has her blonde hair down and is wearing ripped blue jeans and a plain yellow T-shirt with sunflowers.

She stands with one hand on her hip and the other on the door handle while tapping her foot inpatient for my response.

"I-" Before I get a chance to answer her question she tries to shut the door on my face but someone yells after her before she gets the chance.

"Leila who's at the door!?" That voice. My throat becomes dry.

Mrs. Grae appears behind Leila. She looks the same as I last saw her with her hazel hair and her cardigans.

She opens the door wider and looks over to Leila with confusion when she realizes it's me at the door.

"Leila please go into the other room."

"But-"

"Now." Leila does as she's told by backing away into the other room discreetly mocking the words her mom.

When she vanishes out of the room Mrs.Grae put hers attention back on me.

"Hi Millie." She says calmly but has a sad somber look on her face while talking.

I'm just a spitting reminder of her son and how he's no longer here.

"I don't want to bother anyone I just want to be near him today, do you mind if I go sit in his room for a bit?" Mrs. Grae takes a moment to reply but when she's about to Leila yells something from the other room making herself heard.

"You have some nerve!" She exclaims loudly with no remorse. Mrs. Grae ignores her comment and looks back at me.

"Look I don't know what happened that night but I do know your hurting as much as we are if not more. You have twenty minutes. Please don't touch anything." She moves out of the way to make room to let me in.

"Thank you." I say as I walk quietly to his room cautiously trying not to be  distraction as I hear the door shut behind me.

As I walk into the bedroom I let out a big sigh. It looks exactly the same as I last saw it. A huge white and gray bed in the corner with a black comforter and sheet and a white bean bag chair in the other corner of the room with many supreme posters around the room with his Xbox and his ps4 laying underneath his tv.
