My head hurts.

We're driving really fast.

I look over to Lucas who's driving in the drivers seat

I think he's saying something but I can't comprehend what he's saying.

I feel dizzy. My head feels like it's on fire.

We're driving really fast.

"I don't feel good, can you slow down?" I'm cold. I begin to shiver.

The car isn't slowing down. I look back over to Lucas and he's still mumbling about something.

"Slow down!"  I can't think straight. My arms and legs begin to sweat and I feel my whole body shaking.

"Millie did you hear what I said?" His hands are gripping the steering wheel tight, having his full attention on the road.

I can't respond.

I'm to tired all of a sudden.

I can't get myself to speak up.

"Millie I have something to confess." Confess? Confess what? Did he not enjoy prom? Is that why we left early?

"I have been seeing someone behind your back but before I tell you who, you have to understand that it's complicated" Seeing someone? But he's seeing me. Is he trying to say that I'm complicated? Sure I can be stubborn but I don't think I'm that complicated. Right?

I can't understand what he's saying anymore. My head hurts even worse now.

I just need some sleep.

We can talk more about this tomorrow.

I feel myself fall into a deep sleep and all I hear in silence.

                                     *  *  *

I sit up panicking in my bed, tugging at my chests with heavy breaths.

It's true.

He was really seeing someone else. It's really true.

I remember he tried to tell me.

I remember.

I burst out of bed without any second thoughts.

I need to tell Carter and Owen everything. I don't care if me and Owen are not on speaking terms right now. He needs to know.

I grab my phone from nightstand and sent out a group message.

Meet me at my locker right now.

I put my phone back on my nightstand and I rushed to my closet to get ready.

I grab a pair of nice black jeans with a light olive green t-shirt to wear with my checkered vans.

I don't have much time to do my hair so I just brush my thin brown hair out and left it down.

I throw on my thin black adidas coat to keep me warm. I grab my phone and start to head downstairs.

I see my family in the kitchen as I'm walking down the stairs. They probably have later shifts today. I just wave goodbye and walk out the door before they could ask why I'm leaving so early and convince me to eat breakfast.

I already know that they will interrogate me later but If they do have later shifts for work then I won't see them till late and hopefully I can avoid them till then.
