Nineteen years of being ordinary.
Meet Alex Fitz. Born to Ezra and Valentina with the name Alexandra Katerina Fitzgerald. She is a princess completely unaware of that fact. When her younger half brother shows up to make her aware of her royal stat...
I have been in this country for only a week. It seemed like a century. Time moves so slow here. It is exhausting.
"Ugh!" I winced. "Kat! I seriously cannot breathe in this thing," I whined.
"Relax. I'm just seeing the fitting," Kat said. She took a step back and looked at the newly designed ball gown that she made for me. She gently kissed her fingers as a compliment to herself. "Impeccable," she whispered.
"Yeah. Yeah, it's perfect. Now get this off of me, so I can go meet Nathan for our next riding and archery lesson," I urged.
"Two of you have gotten pretty serious," Kat joked.
I scoffed at her comment. I will admit that I did enjoy spending time with Nathan; however, our time together was only going to be a temporary thing. Whether I stayed in this country or not - probably not - I did not want to make any emotional connections.
My eagerness to go meet Nathan came from my desire to keep learning archery. I absolutely love it! I have never had a passionate hobby before.
Kat helped me get dressed in my riding attire. However, I added a little bit of Alex Fitz to the clothes, because I had a plan for Nathan and I.
I put on a black pull over sweatshirt, because November in Astalilia was extremely cold. Kat and I were about to wrap up our princess training for the day. When Ezra decided to make his grand appearance for the first time in a week. I do not know where he hides himself in this palace, but I guess as king, he does not need to tell anyone where he is or what he is doing.
His planked postured self, confidently walked into the royal dressing room. Three guards walked in perfect synchronization with Ezra. They were all robots created in a lab in the basement of the palace. I convinced myself of that the moment Dominick walked into my loft with two of his own guards. All of the guards looked similar - brooding and self deprecating - yet I could tell the difference between Ezra's guards, my guards, and Dominick's guards. They were different. Yet, they all had no emotion.
Anyways, the vision of fairy tale perfection walked in directly after Ezra.
When I say fairy tale perfection, I mean literal perfection. This girl had auburn brown hair with a completely natural tan that seemed unrealistic to have during the winter. Kat nearly fainted at the sight of her dress. Her shoes remained unseen, but she took long strides to approach the two of us. If she was wearing high heels in the middle of the afternoon, then I would be seriously impressed with her balance.
