𝓢ATURDAY 𝓙ANUARY 𝓣HIRTIETH

"Please! Kat! Kat, I'm begging you to not start crying!" I begged.

"Too late," she whimpered.

Wearing the coronation dress was a monumental occasion.

Kat has been working on this dress since arriving in Astalilia, and I knew I could not leave here without wearing it once. She put all of her blood, sweat, and tears into designing this dress.

It is a magnificent dress!

Being able to wear riding boots underneath this dress is perfect. I was not afraid of falling on my face. Kat, on the other hand, has been falling on her face all morning and afternoon. The poor girl has been on her face more than she has been standing up.

Our entire group needed to get to the coronation.

Kat continued making minor adjustments to the bottom of the dress every five seconds. I physically had to pry her hands off of the dress to make her stop.

"Kat! Kat! We gotta get going! Come on Kat!" I shouted.

"Fine! Just one little thing and ... ah, it's perfect. I'm a genius," she said.

"Yeah! A real Einstein! Now let's go, before we actually miss the coronation, then I'd really be screwed!" I exclaimed.

The two of us went to the palace entrance to meet everybody. Every Astalilian guard was ready to bring the entire royal family to the coronation.

The coronation has been taking place on the edge of the palace grounds for centuries. Ever since the first ancestral Fitzgerald was crowned after the peace treaty. The entire kingdom can look upon the new King or Queen being crowned in front of everyone. The coronation is televised throughout all of the kingdoms.

Dozens of bulletproof limos drove everyone to the edge of the palace grounds.

Ezra, Elizabeth, Dominick, and I all needed to be in separate limos.

It wounded me to know that I had no idea the grounds of the palace were this large. The fact that we needed to drive from one edge of the palace to the other is mind altering.

Nathan, Henry, Gabe, Seraphina, and Kat went to the VIP section of the crowd. A special elevated platform in order to get the best view.

The royal family needed to remain hidden until commencement. Especially now.

My decision has been made.

No one in the kingdom knew who was going to be crowned as the new ruler, so Dominick and I remained out of view of everyone.
