I do not know how to comprehend my own feelings. I have never been able to work through my feelings. My entire body felt overwhelmed by the fact that Nathan Kensington is standing in front of my eyes. I did not know whether I wanted to kiss him or slap him. He did shoot me with an arrow. I think I have to be mad about that.
Exasperated. Indignant. Resentful.
Anger could come at a later date. Nothing matters more than wrapping my arms around Nathan. I wanted to feel his embrace as a living human being again.
Elated. Content. Delighted.
"You're the miracle I needed," I whispered. Nathan gently pressed his lips against mine. A slight tingle was felt between the two of us. Neither of us pulled away, but we both smiled at the same time. The two of us were able to feel the electricity between the two of us.
It reminded me of the first time I kissed Nathan.
However, this was not real electricity. This was magical.
Nathan and I sat in the gazebo on the grounds of the palace late at night. Nathan's abilities were heightened due to the lights that were plugged in around the gazebo. Our first kiss pushed the two of us away from one another, because a small jolt of electricity zapped my lips.
No one noticed Nathan's miraculous status change from dead to alive.
However, most people right now were busy.
I do not think they noticed. No one had the time to notice.
Gabe continued to keep Kat calm, because the men in hazmat suits were restraining her. He kept saying comforting things to her. He wanted to try and keep Kat from moving, because she could accidentally shoot someone with electricity and kill them.
God! Those vultures looked like they were strapping her down like a rabid pack animal.
Henry and Seraphina were crouched on the ground. Seraphina looked white as a sheet. She looked like she was going to be sick. Henry attempted to console her, but all he did was gently pat her back like he was burping a baby.
