Dominick searched throughout the tent for Henry and Gabe. He and Alex made a promise to only use the distress signal if they were in real trouble - meaning their lives had to be in immediate danger.  If nothing was wrong, then she would have only hit the top buttons to get his attention.

This entire night was about Alex. No one else. Alex!  She is nowhere to be found, so it was making Dominick's heart race when he could not find her. He searched everywhere.

Her signal had to be real.

Henry, Gabe, and Seraphina were all standing in a corner of the tent. Their faces scrunched in anger as they spoke angrily to one another. Henry looked to be the angriest of them all, but Gabe and Seraphina were equally as worried. The three of them looked like they were having a serious argument.

Keeping their emotions intact was key in this situation, but all of them had a terrible poker face. The three of them did not want any of the other party guests to notice their panicked state of mind. That was not working in their favor.

"Have you guys seen Alex?" Dominick asked.

All three shook their heads.  "None of us have seen her, Kat, or Nathan for over an hour," Seraphina explained.

Dominick's chest began beeping.

He took out his walkie talkie and heard voices coming out of it. He knew the voice was coming from Alex, because the two of them are the only people to use the same frequency in the palace. Dominick had the plan to try and talk to Alex, but Henry swatted his hands away from the device. Both Henry and Gabe pursed their lips together and held their pointer fingers to their lips.

Henry, Gabe, Seraphina, and Dominick shuffled to a quieter area in the heated tents. The four of them knew they needed to be inconspicuous.

Alex's voice came through on the walkie talkie.

Throughout their time together, Alex has taught Dominick a few things since she came to Astalilia.  Alex knew a lot about the law and how evidence can be collected legally. She gave Dominick advice on how he could keep tabs on his meetings without breaking the law. Plus, Alex knows how to have proof on everything. She never blindly said things without having the proper backup for them.
